Everything went well! we had a private bungalow and it was probably the best private room we had our whole 3 week trip! Large with an inside hammock and an outdoor daybed and shower! (also an indoor shower as well but the outdoor one was a nice added touch to get all the sand off.
They have their own private beach so no one trying to sell you bracelets or magnets!
The pool is amazing too if you dont want to deal with sand.
I read a bunch of reviews saying the food was not great but I have to disagree, the food we had was very good! they even had a wood fire oven for the pizza!

This hotel is beautiful. Set on a farm in the lush greenery, close to the river. I enjoyed walking to the river to kayak and swim. You can easily get to the beach too. We saw toucans and so many beautiful birds just sitting by the pool. It is relaxing and feels like a luxury home. Loved it!

I traveled with my dog and she was able to walk freely all around. We were very glad to find this beautiful dog friendly ecohotel and hope to be back. Santiago was the reason we arrived to the ecohotel, with excellent precheckin service. They arranged all the transfers for us (reasonable prices) and a great massage with Luna. The evening at the beach was beautiful. And the sky open shower was an awesome surprise, I loved it!!

The common area and rooms were clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The hotel has access to the beach, even though the sea current was dangerous during our stay. Breakfast was good and the menu offered a wide range of possibilities for both lunch and dinner. When you enter you get an electronic bracelet and everything you order automatically gets added to your bill - we loved it, we felt like we were in an all-inclusive hotel (just we paid for everything at the end). There are activities and tours you can book through the hostel, we did the tubing (they have twice a day) and it was cool.
