Friendly host, and functional sleeping courters. After checking in, I discovered that the public aquatics and gym were non functioning. Also my room had a shower, and no tub. Which was only an issue for me because I was not allowed to use the hot tub. Also, no usb outlets. This room has baseboard heating and an AC unit. Most restaurants were closed quite early, except for fast/fake food restaurats. But, that had nothing to do with the Inn. And lastly the information that the host gave me on on the region was nice. As well, as travel advice.

Some shops were not open which is very disappointing. Others have limited days of the week or hours which make it difficult to spend time downtown.
Great views of mountains and mountain bike park was impressive.
Several great outings within half hour of town. Specifically Mt Robson which is spectacular.

The local museum was VERY informative, wonderful exhibits of railway times. Information about the Japanese internment camps was quite enlightening, we had no idea that they existed in this area, and the history of the Canoe River train disaster was truly revealing.
We took a stroll along part of the Cranberry Marsh - beautiful view from atop the observation tower.

If you want to eat in Valemount, go to the Caribou Grill. The food and service is top notch, great! Love it :)
I would stay at the inn again if I was just driving through.

I stop in Valemount once every couple of years as it is the only location with accomodation between Vancouver and Edmonton. Don.t care for it as it is overpriced knowing that people have little choice. Little choice in restaurants and gas is higher than anywhere else on the route.

Never again will we stay here The room was small and the place needs to be demolished. It’s old, smells, and we got up with backaches in the morning. The parking lot was jammed with vehicles. Trades stay here. This place is gouging people with their prices.
Hosts were absolutely amazing. Happy to make suggestions and answer any questions but didn’t intrude on privacy. Location was great for sight seeing in the area with many hikes and points of interest close by. Bed was super comfy and the linens provided were of great quality and everything was fresh and clean. Little touches like shampoo, conditioner and body wash (quality products not just cheap hotel stuff) and the delicious home cooked breakfast everyday were amazing. We would gladly return to this B&B.
The property is well located for breaking up a trip from southwest BC to central Alberta. The unexpected bonus of the location is that it is located adjacent to a bird sanctuary with a well-groomed walking trail to stretch tired legs. The hotel staff were friendly and the meal we had in the hotel was good. Next time I would venture into Valemount proper for dinner as it looked like it had some interesting places to eat. The beds were very comfortable.
Very clean hotel. I have stayed there a couple of times and I think they cater to a lot of highway and other construction people. I worked construction and I know that you can get fairly grubby. Kudos to the cleaning staff as the common areas were spic and span and my room was spotless. The beds are comfortable and everything worked well. They had a full hot breakfast and the coffee was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.
We stayed in a room that had just been renovated. The room was clean and contained all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. This is a small motor hotel so lacked the amenities of a larger organization (e.g. no breakfast room); however, there were several restaurants nearby. It was a good budget-friendly option and would work well for a young family. Make sure to arrive before 11 p.m. or the front desk will be closed.
We had a brief stay here as we were passing through to Jasper but wished we could’ve stayed longer! Beautiful rustic cabins with amazing view of mountains. The owner was very friendly and gave us great recommendations - one of them leading us to see a wild bear for the first time! Hope to be back one day.
We liked that this is a proper hotel with an elevator and interior hallways. Everything was very clean and our room was quite up-to-date. We requested and were given a room on the quieter side of the building. The included breakfast was quite decent. Staff were friendly.
The beds were super comfortable. I liked that there were 3 double beds! Never seen that before!
I had stayed at this hotel years ago and it has gone under a huge renovation. I was impressed by the size and design of the bathrooms!
It was beautiful and comfortable being serene and neatly tucked within the mountains of Valemount. Kevin was friendly, welcoming, and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The horses on site were an extra plus to the setting.
I was feeling a bit skeptical about the outside appearance of the hotel building, but once I saw our room, I was blown away. Nice isn’t enough to describe the room. It was so like new, very clean neat and tidy
While I only chose coffee, it was ready and good right after 6:00 AM and I noticed that the tidiness and cleanliness was above average compared to many other hotels I have stayed in recently.
The room was modern, nicely decorated, and very clean. Great shower, Kurig coffee machine, and comfy bed. The free breakfast was awesome! The cheapest hotel on our trip, by far the nicest.
