The staff there were so nice and really went out of their way to be helpful. Room was clean and comfortable, just a little small. Breakfast was delicious. There were plenty of breakfast choices. The finnish was great.

Really friendly and helpful staff at the ski resort and a good selection of restaurants. Also very reasonably priced. Unfortunately a good number of the ski slopes were closed for no apparent reason meaning that skiing the same slopes became monotonous and meant that everyone was queuing for the same lifts so, long queues. The free ski bus is great but if you are in accommodation on the outskirts of Szczyrk the only way to get to the slopes is by car.

Great family friendly place with a lot of amenities for the little ones and the bigger ones. Not as packed with people like other places which I prefer. You ain't waiting in miles just to get somewhere. Great local people, very friendly and helpful. Lovely nature to enjoy and trekking routes. Prices I would say were normal not ballooned like in more popular cities.

Great remote place.
Great remote place. We stayed in a nicely reconstructed old house which was excellently equipped with everything we needed (in the kitchen etc.) The host and the housekeeper were very helpful. We were biking in the bike park, and the trails (or ski slopes) were just two minutes from the house. Just be very careful while driving from the main road to the house - the forest road is very bumpy, and it is easy to hit the undercarriage of the car if it is lower.

It is traffic jump to go to ski lifts in the morning and back to town in the evening. It took us to drive 8 km 30 min in the morning and 1h 20 min to drive back in the evening. We stayed between Christmas & New Year. It was a lot of people. Huge queues near the lifts: we should wait almost 20 min each time to enter the lift. Just 1 apre-ski restaurant which is crowded on lunch: first of all you should search for empty table (almost impossible to find), then wait for 40 min in queue to order the food (not tasty), then wait for 30 min your food is prepared. The real nice view! It is not far from ski resort. Very kind owner. Warm and bright room. Some negative moment with the shared kitchen - it is not so comfortable when you travel with kids. However kitchen has all stuff that are could be needed. Sauna was ready by the requested time. Mostly, I was satisfied on 90%. Szczyrk is a town in a valley surrounded by mountains. You have many options for hiking and also getting onto the summits by cableway. There are some really nice restaurants in the city. City center is really nice with the brook flowing through the city.BBartoszPoland

It’s a nice terrace downstairs with bid yard for the children. As well it’s a good restaurant there, you shouldn’t worries about food. If you prefer grill party the hotel can offer it for you. As well the host is really hospitality! But the most expensive things here is of course magical view, as you located exactly on the mountains! We love this place and gonna back here as soon as possible.

The hotel offers ski lockers and a convenient system to dry boots. Beds were ok, hard enough - very comfortable. There is a shared kitchen with several freezers, oven, microwave and kitchen&tableware. A grocery shop is 3 min walk away. A few restaurants are within a walking (5-10min) distance. And - the top benefit - the ski lift is around the corner!
