I would highly recommend to stay here if you are visiting Stryn. Landlord Anders was very kind and good person. He assisted well through out our stay. View was awesome, food was real tasty. Balcony was perfect with a view of mountains. Dont miss the pizza in Nepolina Pizzeria. Visit in Summer, it will be a paradise.SharukhSweden - 10Scored 10

The town was very welcoming, in every shop and restaurant we visited the people welcomed us with smiles. The best part was driving around the lakes and fjords that are adjacent to the city. We decided to take a half day and drove around Lake Lovatnet, so glad we did. The lake and shores were so beautiful, just breathtaking. It rained in the afternoon so we went to the Viking museum. It was a small museum with the main exhibit being a complete replica of a Viking ship, constructed as they were so long ago. A little high priced but nice. And a neat shop. We planned an extra day in our stop on a whim but are so glad we did.

A great base from which to visit Loen and Olden.
A great base from which to visit Loen and Olden. Needs more public transport options to and from Loen. One or two buses per day is insufficient in peak tourist season. A few lovely little cafes and plenty of facilities.

Make sure you ask the owner where the best places to go are. He recommended three places, two with spectacular viewpoints off the beaten track. (much better than Loen and Olden but near both places). The place was comfortable and clean.

The beds were very comfortable (family room: 2 twin beds pushed together and 2 separate twin beds). The breakfast is good with very attentive service.
