The staff at this hotel is really friendly and helpful. We arrived early hoping to store our bags and ski for the afternoon. They had a lovely room ready, let us check in early, and gave us tips for the afternoon's skiing. I would stay here again!

Right downtown Lillehammer. Huge breakfast spread. Heated bathroom floor. Busy place but room was very quiet. Very small fridge but enough to keep beer and cheese cold. Hotel restaurant closed but many to choose from minutes away.

The hotel is in a perfect location, right on the charming main shopping street. There is free parking (limited spaces, but I always found one). The meals are good. Breakfast was especially good with a lot of variety. Dinner entrees were okay.

It is right at the train station, so easy to find it and drop luggage. Very close to main streets in Lillehammer. Awesome breakfast included and very very helpful staff. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, and will definitely stay again. Rooms are very basic, but all you need.

We adored this place - it is more like a hostel (although rooms have own bathrooms), but the lobby was a lovely place to hang out, the staff very sweet and the rooms super-comfortable. They also have a playground outside that we - even as adults! - totally enjoyed. The breakfast was at an extra cost, but was well-worth it. Overall, a very wonderful experience at a very affordable price.
The hotel is a bit outside Lillehammer (7 min drive/20 min walk), but as a 'stopover', a good choice. We actually found Lillehammer to not be a worth the visit - very touristy. Although we did not stay very long.
