Very nice clean cottage, with nice (but not exceptional) view to the mountain, and very tiny but nice view to Folgefonna.
Very beautiful mountain pass (Roldalsfjellet) is just 5 km drive away, if you want to explore it, just don't take the 4km tunnel.

Very simple but excellent views, great food and friendly staff. Rooms were small but comfortable and had electric kettles for coffee and tea. There was a very unusual hearth fireplace in the dining room that was nice. The car charging port worked well and was billed through the room.

We booked Rødal at the last minute and were pleasantly surprised. Once you receive your door code check-in is easy but if you stay off-season like we did you have to make our own beds. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The bedrooms themselves are plain and for sleeping only. My mom stayed in the room with bunks and she was worried about how low the beds were but it ended up fine. If you are traveling with an older person it is something to be aware of. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay.
