Great facility. Comfy beds. Very clean. Great kitchen. Incredible views
The place was extremely nice. You could take this place for staycation. Thé location was also nice and quiet with mountain view and riverside activities. The house could accommodate 4 people. It was neat and clean and had all the required amenities in it. But there is only very few shops nearby.

Lovely quiet place, an ideal launching point to climb the Mamore hills, or else a short drive over to Glen Coe or Glen Nevis. Some other pretty local walks, although be aware all of them involve an uphill slog of 200-300 metres early on.

After a very long walk in to Kinlochleven a visit to the pub, the Tailrace Inn, was in order prior to going to the campsite. Very friendly. The town seemed very nice with good facilities, amenities and surrounded by mountains. Big hike out the following morning toward Fort William on the WHW.

Lovely little place with simple but delicious restaurant options. It’s directly on the West Highland Trail so hiking is easy right from your front door. There are other trails and if you catch the weather there are some good spots in the river for swimming. As if that wasn’t enough this town is nestled into the highlands and surrounded by stunning views while you’re here and while you’re driving to it. It’s worth visiting more than once!
Nice little place for a quick overnight stay as the West Highland Way walk comes to a close. Overall there is a bit of a hostel feel to the place as most facilities are shared (showers, toilets) and the pod itself is very small. Yet it does the job just fine. The vibe is top notch as everyone is so buzzed to reach Kinlochleven and only have one more day left on the trail. Oh and the lady working there is brilliant--its really nice to be greeted with an enthusiastic and friendly smile after a 20 mile day on the trail.
Perfect location on the west highland way and right on the river too so the atmosphere in the camp ground was just lovely. Far enough away from the hotel that we could get to bed early and not hear a thing from the bar/restaurant too. A fair number of people around but still no queues for facilities like the shower or kitchen area. Staff were really friendly and helpful, even let us have our table in the restaurant early which was very much appreciated.
Kinlochleven is seven miles away from the busy A82 which makes it a nice quiet place to stay. The nearby Co-op is very handy especially as I forgot to take a couple of things with me. Self-catering meant I could have an early breakfast before a long day out. In early June you usually gets get woken up by a song thrush singing it's little heart out around 4.30am !
I got the impression the apartment is part of what was once a school
Cute little pod, perfect for us as we walked the West Highland Way. Great location in Kinlochleven, easy to find and clear instructions sent ahead of time for entering the pod. The pod itself is cozy and has everything you need for a nights stay, including a full ensuite bathroom and a functional (if mini) kitchen! Tara was a great host, left all the information easily accessible and was available by phone herself.
Feeling so pleased with my stay in the property. Very clean, beautiful design and feels so cosy. Staff very polite, breakfast was delicious with various choices of food. All what I needed was provided. Attached bathroom was clean and nice, also I could see the mountains through the window. Excellent location, most beautiful places are nearby and the view is amazing around. Highly recommended
The breakfast was good with good service. Dinner was OK, although the choice was limited, but the service was fine. The hotel is conveniently placed in a small town / village and was OK for a stopover. It was also conveniently placed for anybody wishing to visit the Ice Factor, the National ice climbing centre in Kinlochleven.
Lovely location set next to Glencoe with breathtaking views to wake up to.
Hotel was spotless with lovely clean and comfortable beds, honesty bar in the hall with soft drinks and beers.
Hosts were super friendly and excellent cooked breakfast. Great for local restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Good location in a nice village on a beautiful loch and surrounded by Monroes. Close to activities, such as ice climbing centre and Via Ferrata. Nice pub in village - Highland Getaway - and Coop. For a hostel it was good. Staff were very friendly.
Very convenient lodge in a quiet environment. We felt as if we were youngsters in a small youth hostel, and we enjoyed it. The common parts were very clean and practical. Our daughter loved observing the deers nearby!
The facilities are excellent because there is a hostel nearby. The toilets and the showers are great. The glamping pod had a fridge in it, as well as a tv. It was just perfect for two tired hikers.
Nice quiet Location (if slightly difficult to find) - just a very quick walk into Kinlochleven, lovely views; friendly welcome; very clean; comfortable bed; good breakfast.
Spacious updated rooms and the lively Bothy Bar overlooking the loch - this was the best non-luxury hotel we stayed in during our 8-day hike of the West Highland Way.
The food in the hotel was very good and so were the staff. The views of the lock and surrounding area were stunning. We managed to see wild stags on our stay also.
Really enjoyed our stay, awesome location with great views. Clean, fresh and warm.
Loved the little walk along to the The Tailrace Inn, great little pub
