The place was extremely nice. You could take this place for staycation. Thé location was also nice and quiet with mountain view and riverside activities. The house could accommodate 4 people. It was neat and clean and had all the required amenities in it. But there is only very few shops nearby.

Nice stopover for WHW walkers with co-op for shopping and a nice pub serving good food, The Tailrace Inn, all in easy walking distance. Easy scenic bus service to Fort William for those who are blistered or knee-wracked or just plain tired.

Lovely quiet place, an ideal launching point to climb the Mamore hills, or else a short drive over to Glen Coe or Glen Nevis. Some other pretty local walks, although be aware all of them involve an uphill slog of 200-300 metres early on.

We had a brief stay in Kinlochleven but we will certainly return. We had an evening meal at the Trail Race Inn which was lovely. We enjoyed the friendly warm atmosphere. The village seems friendly and very scenic.

After a very long walk in to Kinlochleven a visit to the pub, the Tailrace Inn, was in order prior to going to the campsite. Very friendly. The town seemed very nice with good facilities, amenities and surrounded by mountains. Big hike out the following morning toward Fort William on the WHW.

Lovely little place with simple but delicious restaurant options. It’s directly on the West Highland Trail so hiking is easy right from your front door. There are other trails and if you catch the weather there are some good spots in the river for swimming. As if that wasn’t enough this town is nestled into the highlands and surrounded by stunning views while you’re here and while you’re driving to it. It’s worth visiting more than once!
The owners were excellent: our plans had changed and we arrived in Kinlochleven early and drenched. They were happy for us to check in early. So many nice touches: drying shed, lounge area with toffees, snack selection in the room, toothbrushes/toothpaste, alarm clock etc.
Bed was really comfortable, we ended up oversleeping! Breakfast was really delicious with lots of choice. Being vegetarian I requested scrambled eggs but they added beans and hash brown as extras. Great location with wonderful views.
Perfect location on the west highland way and right on the river too so the atmosphere in the camp ground was just lovely. Far enough away from the hotel that we could get to bed early and not hear a thing from the bar/restaurant too. A fair number of people around but still no queues for facilities like the shower or kitchen area. Staff were really friendly and helpful, even let us have our table in the restaurant early which was very much appreciated.
Cute little pod, perfect for us as we walked the West Highland Way. Great location in Kinlochleven, easy to find and clear instructions sent ahead of time for entering the pod. The pod itself is cozy and has everything you need for a nights stay, including a full ensuite bathroom and a functional (if mini) kitchen! Tara was a great host, left all the information easily accessible and was available by phone herself.
Our room had 4 beds for the family, one of which was a bunk bed. Bathroom was clean. Hotel is in perfect location, walkable to everything in town. Breakfast was very good. Free parking right in front of hotel. Beautiful mountain views from room and a convenient pub/restaurant downstairs for lunch or dinner. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Loved it.
The location was great. Kinlochleven is a quaint mountain town and we are glad we chose to stay there. The property was well decorated, had a well stocked kitchen, great hot tub, wonderful view, and everyone in our family loved it! lots of room to spread out. I would recommend it to any family looking for a peaceful getaway in Scotland. Wish we would have stayed longer!
Great value stay in Kinlochleven along the West Highland Way. Met our expectations being affordable and a hostel. 4 person room was comfortable enough and good to have a bathroom in the room. Kitchen facilities looked excellent although we didn't use these, and nice lounge areas for guests with included tea and coffee.
Great location near Grey Mares waterfall; spacious for our family of four; nice little den area that was well stocked with movies, books, games and breakfast items. Not far from activities in Glencoe. Great communication from the host as well! Would definitely stay longer than one night the next time we visit the area!
The pod was comfortable, like a mini hotel room with a small well thought out enclosed private outside area which would be handy if hanging around, though we were out all day and evening. Just me and my adult son for a two night stay, so used the sofabed. WiFi is good (and I think the details say no WiFi?) .
Our bedroom was big, very well decorated, comfy and we had a lovely view of the river.
The hotel staff was lovely, everyone was very nice and professionnal.
The food in the hotel restaurant is delicious, both for dinner and breakfast.
It was our favorite stop on the WHW, thank you very much :-)
Basically Everything! It was an absolute perfect stay from check-in to check-out and everything in between.
We were so lucky to have booked Allt Na Leven and it exceeded our expectations, which were high to begin with and the hosts and accommodations exceeded our already high expectations!
The surrounding areas of Kinlochleven are stunning mountains, rivers, Loch Leven is beautiful. The facilities are fantastic the pod was warm had a kettle and microwave which we used and pubs nearby served lovely food.
The hotel was in a lovely position and close to the shop and local pub for food. The room had everything we needed and was very clean and comfy. Located in a lovely little village. Breakfast was very nice!
20210712-14 Location right near WHW. Host was awesome! Great kitchen and labeling system. Large, spacious common areas. My room was ensuite and had nice hot showers. Had best night's sleep!
Very clean, large bedroom with more facilities than you’d get in a hotel! Perfect stop over for my wife and I on our West Highland Way adventure. The owners were a lovely couple also!
It's a small guest house located in a beautiful area. I like the nice arrangement in the guest house. There are choices for breakfast, and the morning fruit is the most fresh.
Spacious updated rooms and the lively Bothy Bar overlooking the loch - this was the best non-luxury hotel we stayed in during our 8-day hike of the West Highland Way.
