We booked last minute since we were caught in a storm and couldn't make it to our airbnb. Magnus was a wonderful host. He made us feel very welcome and is very hospitable. The views were beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable! It is an amazing deal and it was the unexpected highlight of our trip and we were thankful for the detour from our original plan!

The room was well-designed and comfortable. The decor was old-style and provided us with a perfect Icelandic homestay. One of the unique aspects is the personalized atmosphere it provides. Since it's a homestay, it was very calm, and felt like we were at our own home. The next time I visit Iceland, I will definitely stay at this place again.

We were met by the lovely host Pálína. Who showed us around and made us feel welcome and at home. She patiently answered the many questions my eight year old had. He was fascinated with all the rocks and books and was happy to have toys and games to play with. All the hotels and places we stayed at in Iceland were clean but this was the cleanest place we stayed at, with so much attention to details. We used the kitchen to prepare some sandwiches. There was one other party of 3 there and it was totally fine. Didn’t use the hot tub and sauna as we had spent the day earlier in a pool, but other party did and said it was good.
