It's stunningly beautiful, incredibly peaceful, and crossing...
It's stunningly beautiful, incredibly peaceful, and crossing either of the main passes leading into the valley - the Offenpass or the Umbrail - takes your breath away. The Monastery of St John, an hour's walk away, is fascinating. The entire valley is criss-crossed by PostBuses, which means you can get to or from almost anywhere you'd like to walk without using a car. The owners are welcoming, the breakfast delicious and the room spacious and clean. There is free parking right behind the hotel and our dog was welcome. They have a great game room and plenty of other spaces to hang out. It’s a short drive into Italy where you can get a great pizza right at the border

The place was really nice, the staff very helpful. The breakfast very good with plenty of choice. Hotel is located right in the centre. We were on bikes which we could lock in safe bike room. Basically all was perfect.
