St Moritz is beautiful and the transport system is excellent.
However it is too expensive, beyond reason. 6CHF for a cup of tea. 9CHF for a bottle of sparkling water.
The best way to eat is to buy something at coop.
For the amount of money going into the economy they could keep their public toilets cleaner.

We only stayed for 1 night to catch the Glacier Express the next day. By the time we checked in and got settled, most points of attraction had closed except shops. Would have liked to arrive earlier in the day to explore. However, our one night stay was quite pricey (probably the most I have ever paid for a room hotel - granted this is St. Moritz at Christmas and we had a “family room” (queen bed room with adjacent room with bunk beds).
However, I fully enjoyed the Glacier Express, even though it was snowy & cloudy. Would love to do it again in the summer!

We went off season so many places were closed but what was open was perfect - a friendly welcome from everywhere we went. The Engadinia restaurant and the Parkhotel Margna in Sils were ideal places to eat. St. Moritz is easy to get around - we walked everywhere.
Great place to visit

It may be a rich man's play ground and the shops and the prices reflect that. It is a pleasant place to stay and the scenery is wonderful, but there are many other places in Switzerland where that is true. We stayed there because we wanted to travel on the Glacier Express and that ride is spectacular. We would not bother with St Moritz in the Summer otherwise.

A really great place for leisure ~ you can see the snow mountains ~ lakes ~ and valleys at the same time~ if you enjoy sports ~ there is a heaven for hiking, cycling, jogging, swimming, boarding Kate and playing tennis in summer~
We came to St.Moritz for hiking, and location of the hotel is perfect. It is 10 min. walk from funicular station, and a bus stop is right near the hotel. Hotel provides a card for free public transport and mountain railways, which is a very substantial saving for those who hike up in the mountains.
The hotel has a very nice pool and a small sauna. The restaurant on site is very good.
Staff was very helpful and speaks perfect English.
Breakfast spread was amazing, very homey! Location is uphill all the way from the train station but we took a cab from station to hotel for CHF25. Restaurants are in walkable distance. Room is suffice, not too small. Stay is comfortable as its clean and has a lift for our heavy luggage! Paid for breakfast for convenience, definitely worth it! We stayed during early Sept so temperature was just nice with opened window at night.
Rooms as per online description, cleanliness, polite staff, great restaurant with long enough evening opening hours (very important for Switzerland and especially on Sundays), location was excellent very central and views from the room.
As a plus I would also count the hotel bar in -1 that has a live performance (very talented guitarist) and very good drinks (price and quality).
Decent and well located hotel with a really good restaurant. Reasonable option for a short travel, close to the train station and for having a walk around the city. It is possible to have some nice view from some rooms, however not panoramic. Overall the room was comfortable, beds especially, and quiet. However we've been upgraded, so can't tell about more standard rooms.
It was warm and welcoming with old world charm. Our rooms were spacious and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was wonderful as was breakfast the next morning. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Good location with lake views and a short walk to the train station and town centre. Would highly recommend this hotel and wished we were there longer.
The hotel is situated right at the city center. You will not have a hard time looking for places to eat or shop. The breakfast they served was wonderful. One of the best I had during my stay in Switzerland. They have an indoor swimming pool and sauna room. They also offer spa massage services which I really liked because this was the last leg of my trip.
Arte is a relatively new hotel, very tidy, and the rooms are well equipped. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is exceptional indeed: wide range of food and drink is served, and their quality is superior. The Hotel has a restaurant, too. Great service and fantastic dishes can be found there.
Recently renovated (top floor rooms still under renovation) hotel. The staff were fantastic and helped us with so many things. Really great that they offer ski rental at the hotel, with such a short walk to the nearest ski lift.
The hotel restaurant serves wonderful food, and at better prices than any of the others we visited during our stay.
Beautiful hotel. Loved the antiques located throughout the building. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of choices. Our room faced the lake and the view is terrific. It's easy to find but the walk from the train station is all up hill.
The in house restaurant was very good with reasonable (for St. Moritz) prices.
The room and everything in it was quite decent and very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. One note: if you go to the hostel by public transport be sure to get prepared beforehand - google maps shows the bus stop a ilttle off, and big streets in St. Moritz surprisely have no signs.
The apartment had everything we could ask for and even more. Unfortunately, we did not get to meet the owner but he was extremely willing to help us with everything we asked him. We would definitely choose this apartment again if we visited St. Moritz!! Thank you for everything Benjamin!
Large hotel that still feels cozy and comfy. Good breakfast buffet even if a little crowded sometimes. Great wellness offer in combination with access to the pool and wellness center St. Moritz Bad. We got an "older" room but it was very pleasant and comfortable.
The staff were not cooperative, they did not accept our vaccinations and had us pay 150 f to translate them. We went different countries and none of them rejected our vaccination certificates. Even other places in Switzerland had no issues with it.
This hotel is perfect. Location, staff and food are excellent. Their staff are very friendly. We love their food so much that we had almost all our meals in the restaurant during our 3 nights stay. Will definitely go back.
This was a good value accomodation in St. Moritz for those who wish to take in the area and but not the high priced accomodations. The common area was nice. The breakfest included all one needs to start the day.
The room was clean, very comfortable, with an amazing view of the lake. There were nice touches, like a pair of binoculars. The hotel’s restaurant was superb.
