Upon arrival the guest card was not sent to me via E-Mail. I went to the main building of the Hotel "Krone". There were two gentlemen in process of moving furniture out of the hotel. One took care of the guest card. I was asked for my personalities. Then a short while later I did receive the guest card via E-Mail.
The last day of my holiday in Hotel "Krone Budget", at the Restaurant "zum Gade" nobody showed up in the morning at 06:30. In the guest information upon arrival it was stated that it will be possible to have breakfast at this restaurant after 06:30. I explicitly had announced on my arrival day that I shall come by this time for breakfast. I then went to the main building of the Hotel "Krone". I asked there when I could get breakfast. At first I was told by 07:30. Then as more employees arrived I was told it will be possible to have breakfast immediately i.e. at 07:00 as certain things still were in process of being prepared.
By that occasion I told to one employee who bothered about electricity the evening before that the heating in the toilet of my room did not work. Most likely the air had to be let out. He wanted to fix this immediately. I told him he can fix this when I am gone.
This overall was a very great service. They very much did take care!

I love it. I have been there several times throughout my childhood and teenage years (so beware my opinion is biased).
There are lots of hiking and mountain biking options available with differing degrees of difficulty. But you can also take the gondola or bus for the main attractions if you want to take it easy.
It's a nice place for people with kids as well as older people. A nice village with all necessary things/ shops available (just be aware of opening hours; shorter than city ones).
The nature is awesome and lot's of things/ places can be newly discovered even after several visits prior (speaking from experience (Iffigenalp and Nessli).

Cute little town surrounded by amazing scenery.
Cute little town surrounded by amazing scenery. We only stayed the night on our stop hiking the Via Alpina Route. Perfect place after a days hiking with the pool and spa. Well connected with bus and train in the centre of the town.
Good sized coop if you need to stock up.

Lenk is a relatively small and quiet village tucked away at the end of the valley. There are two ski areas, the larger one links with Adelboden and has more than enough for a ski holiday. Bus services link the two ski areas and the train service even links Lenk with other ski resorts further back down the valley.
There are a selection of restaurants, over the years, we have tried them all and have never been disappointed.
If you are looking for wild âpres-ski and endless discos, don't go to Lenk. There are one or two places but it is not the Ibiza of the mountains.

We visited Lenk for a weekend. Despite the weather being rainy we were able to enjoy the surroundings. The town has some lovely shops and cafes and the views of the mountains are spectacular. There are some lovely waterfalls at the end of the valley which are well worth a visit.

Lenk is a small town at the head of the Simmental with mountains rising all around. Two cable cars offer rewarding trips to higher ground where marked trails tempt the casual walker to explore the beautiful scenery.
Very kind, helpful, welcoming owners. I have stayed before, and have stayed in many hotels and guest houses in Switzerland; this one is my favourite . A big lovely room, very comfortable, lovely balcony with beautiful view. Tea and coffee available to make downstairs. Lovely breakfast. Also Lenk itself is worth at least a weeks stay if you love the countryside, walking and hiking in beautiful surroundings. Hotel Alpina is a lovely homely traditional Swiss house and very quiet. I was sad to leave. I hope to visit again!
Super helpful/ caring staff (I had a sprained ankle and they helped me get around (carrying my baggage) and with my booking + after check out they drove me to the city center) I am very thankful for that!
Otherwise it was a sweet hotel (nice ambience), very clean and had lot's of good features (a beautiful swimming area, a billard table and even windows to a horse riding hall next door.
+ the breakfast was pretty good/ tasty :P.
Beautiful clean apartment located in the centre of Lenk. The apartment is very modern and the view from balcony is beautiful. The kitchen has all the equipment and is very well designed and exceeded the expectations. The rooms and bathroom are nice . Grocery store is located 3 mins away from the apartment.
Few things are confusing if you are coming for the first time like check in / check out process and parking.
The manager was wonderfully welcoming and knowledgeably helpful. Room for four adults well appointed with separate bedrooms, two balconies, double showers and sinks. Loved the space after so many other small rooms on Via Alpina 1. Town and eating close by. Would recommend as long as you are okay with it not being updated. Great breakfast and very clean.
Super friendly hotel, the staff very helpful and happy to share stories about the area. Wonderful pool to cool off in after a long hike. Spotlessly clean. Good dinner menu either House menu a la carte. Good breakfast selection. Would stay there again and recommend.
Very large space, and the location is 10/10. The hosts were very responsive and helpful and secured transportation cards for us so the busses are free. Amazing views from all three balconies. There is a shared laundry room which was very handy.
The establishment is incredible and the staff are so welcoming. When you pull up with you car in front of the hotel staff from the front desk and person to help with your luggage come out to meet and great you. They really make you feel welcome.
Perfect location right in the center of the village. Great indoor parking. Hotel is very functional. Breakfast was very good and the staff always friendly. The pool is nice after skiing and we liked the play area for the kids.
We ended up extending our stay for one more night. The combination of a clean and functional room, an adequate breakfast and excellent location make this hotel a great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, kids friendly, big comfy lounge area and the hotel also has a food truck outside that sells burgers and others fast / comfort food. Swimming pool was a big plus for us.
Sonja was a great, helpful host. Spacious room with balcony and sink. Plus much transportation in the Simmental Valley is included…trains & gondolas! The breakfast is good & generous.
A perfect apartment for a vacation in Switzerland in a quiet town. Wonderful location. The apartment lacks nothing and Peter, the owner of the place, is a very nice person.
Great value for all this hotel has to offer!!! Comfortable big room with gorgeous views of the Simmental mountains. Perfect location for summer hiking and train travel.
awesome location of the property, very clean and located strategically, about 5 mins walk to the train station
Spacious apartment with lovely sunset looking balcony
