he location is spectacular with amazing views and the easiest access ever to ski slopes: right outside our front door. The ski school for our kids was just 250 m downhill. We loved enjoying lunch in our own apartment. During the day we skied and in the evening we played games or sledged down to Blatten.

We were helped with the transfer of our luggage from the station and also could borrow snow shoes for outside free of charge. The view of the alps is absolutely breathtaking - it really is a winter paradise but not crowded at all so felt very relaxing and plenty of things to do (especially for those who ski). I highly recommend hotel belalp to anyone wanting to stay in top of a mountain.justusUnited Kingdom

Excellent breakfast served in large room with beautiful views of the Alps.. Our evening meal was delicious and offering a good selection of wines. For the summer tourist there are great walks which you will remember for their beauty. Several ski lifts run daily during the winter period. I look forward to my next visit.

Foods and drinks in the restaurant are great with a wide range of choices. Despite the hotel facility is a bit old, the shower is super powerful and hot, the room is bigger than I expected and beds are comfy which all in all is a good place for people to gain energy back after a long day of exercise.

The hotel is situated in an outstanding location with views over the Aletsch Glacier. The hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the gondola. We arrived in the dark and snow and the hotel arranged for us to be picked up. They also provided free rental of snowshoes and poles.

It’s warm and friendly with very helpful owners. The bar and restaurant area is really nice to hang out in and have friendly discussions with other guests.
