Gallivare is a mining town and in itself not particularly interesting for holiday takers but it provides good transport options to several of the national parks in the region. It is possible to make some nice walks in the immediate vicinity of the town but these alone are not a reason to travel there.

The position overcooking the surrounding area, the accommodation, the breakfasts (and tea and biscuits later in the day) and above all the friendliness, support and concern for my welfare expressed by the staff added up to a perfect stay.JohnUnited Kingdom

Modern, clean room with bigger TV than I have at home. Extra points for having cool, thin summer covers on the bed instead of too warm thick ones. Great breakfast. Free coffee in the reception for hotel guests. Can't be more centrally located.
