Hotel is just less than 7 min away from Toyama Station. It is quite an easy walk with large luggage. The hotel is extremely clean with large lobby area and spacious room.
My only hope is that the breakfast choices can do few variations each day.
It was a perfect hotel choice !

Toyama is probably outside of the usual tourist trips in Japan. I have been there for a working meeting. Anyway it is a pleasant and quite city, large enough to offer some amusements and definitely not chaotic. I would recommend visiting the castle and the seafront (the latter probably best enjoyed in summer).

I took the 6:28 shinkansen from Tokyo, then directly went to Mt. Tateyama. Finally arrive on the Mountain at 12 and spend the entire day there, went down at 16:15. Arrive in Toyama city around 7. The next day went to the glass museum of Toyama, grab a coffee, then directly went to buddha statue in Takaoka & Amaharashi coast. Just enough two day trip.

I and my friend spent 3-day vacation here (end of July). We enjoyed so much fresh air and peace of the city (or it was because of the covid so there was not much of people visiting, idk) but it was ideal place for a getaway from crowded cities. We went to Tateyama and planned to visit Snow Wall (Murodo) so we bought the ticket for cable car to Murodo. It took about 2h for cable car and bus to get there, and as it climbed up to the mountain, it would be more foggy and cold so remember to prepare extra clothes, hats and shoes (it'd be better to have water-resistant ones and maybe you will also need a rain coat). Unfortunately, we could not observe any snow wall ecause it has already melted at this time and also the mountain bc it was too foggy. This was our first time so it was ok to challenge with a short trekking in raining and strong wind and get wet, but if you want to reach Tateyama top, it'd be better with extra-preparation of professional clothes.

Love Toyama city for the ample space, peacefulness and vicinity to great attractions. Halal food was a bit difficult for me, but since food was not my mainn priorit, Toyama was great! Will visit again in the future.
The hotel is Japanese-style, but modern and has a great atmosphere. The double room was very comfortable - the bed, the layout, the space for baggage, and also the bathroom, which had a cedar-wood bath. The onsen is also well-equipped and pleasant.
The breakfast buffet had big variety and everything was delicious.
The staff were kind.
The location is convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and restaurants/bars. The station is a short tram or taxi ride away (on foot 15-20mins).
All in all, I had a great stay and would happily return.
Excellent buffet style breakfast. Excellently located right above Dentetsu Toyama Station for Tateyama Alpine Route. If not staying in this hotel, I wouldn't successfully go to see Murodo Snow Walls, which I failed to get a WEB ticket on public online sale on 31 March. But could conveniently went downstairs to the Dentetsu Station to buy the ticket of the day around 7am, went back for hotel breakfast then set off to Alpine Route in the right time.
The car park attendant gave us secure undercover parking for our motorcycles near his office, which we were not charged extra for.
Breakfast was great if you are a westerner and like buffet style, with a choice of cooked or cereals.
Toyama sits between the ocean and the Japanese alps, which were covered in snow when we were there. The wind was chilly, but the contrast of sea on one side and snow capped mountains on the other was quite unusual.
Although the economy room is small, the bed and duvet were very comfortable, and there is a round bathtub. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities, such as hot baths with sauna and relaxing room with massage chairs, and a free laundry service (100 yen for dryers). The breakfast selection of Japanese and Western foods was excellent and free gin and vodka (100 yen for local sake) along with a good selection of hot drinks from the machine.
Location was great, just a few minutes walk away from Toyama station and Dentetsu Toyama station, making it easy to access key sightseeing spots such as Kurobe Gorge Railway and Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Hotel room and bathroom is large, with amenities thoughtfully placed. Also loved the shower because finally we have a hotel where we don't have to turn two knobs for warm water.
location is just across Toyama station, 3 mins walk to Family Mart or 7-11 , lots of good food places in the building across the street.
i left some of my clothes in room and just realized that it was left in Toyama... contact the hotel and they found it, they offer to send the clothes to me in Osaka... very helpful, big applause for the staff
The location is great, right next to Toyama station, there is even a 24/7 shop right under the hotel, very convenient.
The room was great, big bed, a desk to sit on, and a small couch near the bed.
The bathroom was really amazing, I enjoyed my bath time with some bath salts we got in the reception.
This hotel has a great location near the station and tram central. The staff were very helpful to the limit of their English. Breakfast had variety while being the same each day.
Don't underestimate Toyama as a base for the whole region. Lots of day trips and this hotel works for that.
We enjoyed staying here before doing the Alpine trail the next morning. The staff were very helpful, our Japanese-style room was very comfortable, and the Japanese dinner and breakfast were great. The transfer from the station was very quick and easy to arrange
The room was spacious, with a sofa and television. The bathroom was spacious too, with a bathtub and rain shower head. The hotel was close to the station, so it was very convenient. Breakfast had a variety of food and the food was good.
Spacious; good selection of toiletries (offered beside the elevators); proximity to Toyama Station; gigantic dollar store in the basement floor of the same building; large airy reception area with sofas-great for meeting local friends.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Additionally, the room was very clean.
Being next to the train station helped with not only travelling to the hotel, but exporing within and outside of Toyama
I loved the hotel itself - felt very fancy and beautiful, a nice surprise. The hotel is 5 min walking distance from Toyama station and right behind it is a bar and restaurant street with many options.
The hostel was clean. I like the ambiance. It's near to the Starbucks near the lake. 5mins walk to the Toyama Station. The staff was really accommodating and friendly. Cheap price for a good hotel.
Amazing location just next to the Toyama train station. Our room had a fantastic mountain view when we had a clear day. Hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very kind.
Hotel situated close to Toyama station, with restaurant available in the hall. The room is small, as it is usual with Japanese hotels, but it has all it needs for the stay.
The room is comfy, complete with humidifier. It also clean, and they give amenities on daily basis. Near the tram station and walkable to Toyama station
