Mount Fuji is right in front of the hotel,; decent Japanese breakfast but not so much for Western one; taking off shoes and placing them in lockers before going to the room was quite strange at first but soon it was comfortable to walk around in shoes provided, and clean; three free parking lots

It covered most of my needs, as I needed a hotel with available parking and as budget as possible while still offering what by Western standards are the basics for hotels, such as towels, linens and other similar things. It could have been a little cheaper in my opinion, but I think that the parking spot added to the cost and it is something that I needed so it wasn't a bad deal.
I booked this hotel because I needed a place with available parking as I was traveling by car and using my car to do my business. The parking lot was very large specially by Japanese standards. It was also very easy to find as the picture in this site showed the entirety of the hotel's front making easy to spot it when looking for it with navigation app.
The staff spoke English and was very helpful. The key was a electronic card system instead of normal keys. The room was quite spacious and for the type of hotel so was the bathroom. The breakfast was a self-service all you can eat buffet style with a good amount of options which I found very surprising.
The room's refrigerator had a small freezer, which was a option that the other hotels that I visited didn't have, since I had two reusable ice packs that I was using to keep a thermal bag cool during the day it was a very good and welcomed feature, since that bag had to stay in my car out in the sun most of the day with my lunch box and drinks inside of it.
Breakfast starts very early which was a plus for me as I had very limited time in the morning before I had to leave for my business and had to drive a little over one hour to get there. The early start allowed me to eat with less of a hurry.
In short, if you are traveling via car is a good hotel if you with to visit the area.

Good value hotel with breakfast included. If you look for a place to just sleep this is what you look for. The staffs are helpful even though im not really like the self check in but they still help you on the kios anyway and they are so polite.

I travelled from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji via Kodama Shinkansen.
I travelled from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji via Kodama Shinkansen. The fare is ¥5900 one way and travel time is nearly an hour. I stayed at Toyoko Inn which is 150 meters from the Shin Fuji station. There are lots of car rentals in the area but I was not able to get one as they only accept advance booking from their website. It took me 2 hours getting to and from the foot of Mt. Fuji, by bus and a 15 minute walk in the village to reach my destinations. Roads are quite narrow but they are common in Japan. Like most countryside places in Japan, Fuji is relatively clean, rich in nature, and lots of places to explore. My advice if you want to visit Fuji: 1. Travel by Shinkansen going to and from Fuji. 2. Rent a car so you can visit most of the attractions in and around Mt. Fuji. 3. Spend at leat 3-4 days in the area. 4. Bring cash with you always as most establishments are cash based. 5. Download Papago app on your phone so you can translate Japanese images, signs, etc if you're having difficulty understanding the language. That's it and enjoy your trip to Mt. Fuji.

The host was amazing, he has two dogs. 50 years old traditional house is an experience itself. House is comfortably situated between two stations, one of which is Shinkansen stop. 7-eleven is nearby. Authentic experience of Japanese life different from hectic Tokyo, because not touristy.

I only gave ok rating cause I wasn’t able to see Mount Fuji in the spring. It’s a hit and miss this time of the season, but transportation to one of the lakes was easy. Next time I’ll pick the right season to visit.
I had the most relaxing and enjoyable stay here! I slept so well every night. The lounge area had tea available, with relaxing piano music playing in the background. Also the baths that you could book were amazing, and such a nice experience.
The owners of this Hostel were so friendly, kind and helpful. Thank you so much 🙏
Also excellent location right next to Shin-fuji station, so I did not have to carry my luggage far!
The accommodations were very nice, clean and comfortable, with a great view from the room! The host was very friendly and spoke great English. They have a beautiful yard, and a music room. I would highly recommend it to anyone, looking for a cute simple place to stay in Fuji.
I love the atmosphere, not too much crowed and I like the lamp inside the room :) One more thing, the breakfast is superb! there are many kinds of food like bread and rice and also coffee provided by Doutor company (Japanese coffee). Worth to pay for this hotel :)
The rooms are modern and comfy.
The hotel’s family-friendly. The walls are soundproofed.
The staff are friendly and helpful. They speak English well.
The bathroom’s huge, clean and modern.
The floor has an amazing view of Mt. Fuji.
The breakfast is okay.
The hotel worked with us to confirm details about our Mt. Fuji hike and let us store an extra bag while we spent the night on Mt. Fuji. Thank you so much for spending the time to make our stay comfortable and answer all our questions. Would recommend!
The breakfast buffet offered a relatively wide variety of simple but hearty fare. Likewise, the bathhouse was simple, but a pleasant facility to have. Free parking was great. Next to a nice park. One of our rooms had a solid view of Mt Fuji.
Awesome breakfast included
I had room with Mt Fuji view - even though I never saw it because of storms.
Comfortable room, good staff, everything as expected from Route Inn level hotel.
Car parking for free.
As the name describes it is a Backpacker place with a friendly relaxed vibe. The welcome and departure was very nice. He dropped us to the Fuji station which we appreciate.
The cooking facilities are good.
Great location with views of Mt Fuji and plenty of restaurants options nearby. Front desk staff were amazing with one gentleman speaking perfect English.
