Search hotels in Yanqing

There's not much in the area, but it is ideal for just relaxing and escaping urban life for a little while. Naturally, the Great Wall is in the area and you are surrounded by some absolutely stunning landscapes, especially in the winter. The International Grape Exhibition centre is nearby, which at the time we went also had a snow-themed park to offer with a number of activities (e.g. skating, quad biking, miniature tank driving, small ski slopes) - not sure if they have something similar all year round. The property we stayed at was quite far-removed from the nearest towns, though these are reachable by taxi, Right next to our hotel was a reasonably priced restaurant with excellent food (水木山居), which I would recommend - there is another restaurant in a hotel a short work in the opposite direction, though personally I didn't find the food quite as good there, and the price was also higher.

Loved the Expo 2019 Beijing - Botanic Garden with Molly and family - the driftwood Giraffes - was phenomenal. The UK garden was wonderful Badaling Great Wall was exciting. No one was there so we paid our tickets in cash (website said you could not do this) and just went hiking!
