This is the 13th year skiing in Westendorf, it is by far the most family friendly resort I have come across. The ski schools are excellent, the restaurants on the mountain are very reasonably priced and the variety of skiing available for your annual trip is fantastic, there are seldom queues at the lifts and while some seasons the snowfall across europe is less than wished for the snow making facilities ensure all pistes are open.AlanUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

The apartment was roomy and very comfortable and because we were on the main floor, we even had the use of a hot tub. The kitchen was also very well equipped. our host, Kaspar, went out of his way to be helpful and accommodating. I had a little difficulty with the washing machine and he came to my rescue. Parking was in a private garage, safe and secure. It was a wonderful 5 nights and we can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Owners enabled us to store our luggage after "checkout" and get changed after a ski day before leaving in the afternoon, even provided tea for the drive home. They are in general very kind. Kids will enjoy the fact that there is a little farm in the house with sheep, hen, pigs and horses and if you are as lucky as we were, you will meet some almost newborn animals.OndrejCzech Republic
