Great location, very nice hosts (who unfortunately do not speak English but that was not a problem - if both sides try, there is no problem at all), good breakfast, perfect balconies, nice atmosphere and a wonderful private sauna free of charge. Dogs are also welcomed, for a very decent price. Great value for money.

Lovely, pretty village, been regular visitors for some years. Great skiing for beginners and families. Good facilities and shops. Skiing faciltiies close to the village and great ski rental and instructors (Skischule Maier).

Cute city, but lacks content. We were there for skiing in the winter months. Ski area is pretty small, just a few slopes. The city itself is very small and cute, but boring. There is no events or activities except skiing whatsoever. It also lacks restaurants and cafes in the city and at the skiing grounds as well. There are 2 middle sized grocery stores which is ok. It has beautiful nature and is very peaceful and quiet.

The village is rural and has a lovely rustic feel. If you have beginners in the group you need to know that the main ski area is separated from the nursery slopes by a cable car ride. If the whole group can ski blue runs or higher this would not be a problem but if you have to meet beginners at the bottom you need to factor in time to get back there. This resort was amazing for us. Great modern and clean apartments, kitchen equipped with everything you need. Spa and pool area were lovely with stunning views and resting areas. Great service and help at front desk. We came in may and it was quiet and just perfect for us

The surroundings are very scenic and Rauris represents the ideal starting point for walks in the area, giving good access to the Rauristal and the Grossglockner. Peace, relaxation, plenty of possibilities for hiking in...
Peace, relaxation, plenty of possibilities for hiking in nature, birdwatching (interesting birds of prey centre and living birds of prey demonstration - I even touched an owl, WHOW!), very interesting local history and cultural heritage (museum!) - just perfect place to relax away from mass tourism. But Rauris has everything much larger and crowdier places have - including a cable car, nice restaurants and caffes, shops with sport equipment... all at hand and very friendly.

The room was big and nicely decorated. With a huge balcony, overlooking the mountains, splendid view. The hotel staff was very kind and tried to help us with the booking issue we had. The summer card is also included in the price which is a great deal and one can save a lot with it on the nearby amenities. Lots of places to hike, wander around with kids. Good shopping in the village 5 min walk away.

Grocery store in 5 minutes walk. Very friendly hosts and dog friendly. The apartment on the ground floor was well finished, clean and comfortable. Beds were good. That apartment fells new, everything was very clean. It was our third trip in Rauris and this was our first time in this venue. We will certainly come back here when available.

Secondly, the fact that you can access the spa and small pool opposite on the complex. There is a decent selection of crockery in the kitchen and the beds are comfortable. Communication with the local rep. for key codes etc was efficient and good.

Location is good - near to several sleigh or ski slopes. A fireplace in the living room to create a perfect winter experience and grill in the back yard for those who like have their steak well done :). We would definitely come back here ! We hired our skis (as we always do) from sport eggar, which is about 15 meters away. The walk over to the main gondola is also very close, probably only about 50 meters away. Rainbergerhof has its own warm boot and ski room so plenty of places to store your gear after a day on the slopes.

Beautiful scenery right outside our balcony! Parking was easy and there were washing machine facilities available that we took advantage of. Smart TV for evenings where we could use our own netflix was also great. Each room has their own wifi which is super helpful.
