Nice small town, which could be used as a base for trips to Flachau or Dachstein or anywhere near. In my experience, Eben is a nice starting point for ski destinations around. Also not far from Salzburg, so no problem to find equilibrium between sports and culture. Nice place with many possibilities to do ...

A very beautiful and picturesque city in the heart of the Upper Austrian Alps. The weather was a bit playing hide and seek with us - sometimes cloudy, sometimes rainy and sometimes sunny. But overall it was too romantic. It's a very cute city I would say..

Nice village with skiing opportunity and other ski places are in 15-30 minutes, meaning hundred kms of pistes. There is spar in the center, a pharmacy, a nice butcher. What we missed is a petrol station, the closest is on the highway, meaning an extra 20% in price.

It was part of our European road trip and we stayed only for one night. Which was a shame, it would have been lovely to stay longer. The country around is beautiful and the people are friendly.
Shame we missed the cable car to Kitzsteinhorn. We arrived too late and just missed it. We wanted to try again in the morning but it was raining, with low clouds. So we gave up. But at least we did some hiking. The area is very popular for hiking in the summer. It is even more popular for skiing in the winter. Perhaps we should come again.
I strongly recommend this hotel. The wonderful owner, Elizabeth, was always there for any questions or requests and was very flexible since day one with our inconvenient check-in hour late at night. The hotel has a very cozy/family atmosphere. It's location is excellent for "star trips" around Salzburg and flachau.
And not to mention the fantastic mountains view we had from our apartment.
We will definitely book again if we plan to visit Austria soon.
The best appartments, what I ever seen. Very friendly and always ready to help hostess. Fully equipped kitchen. TV in every room. 5 minutes from highway. In the middle of Austria. The best choice for discovering all popular places with the car. I hope return next summer for 10 nights
nice clean room, good restaurant with decent choice of meals. I tried pasta and it was very tasty, as well as pizza. I didn't expect that the hotel is located just by the slope. We didn't have a chance to enjoy it but may be next time I will consider to try it too.
Newly reconstructed rooms with great personal, there is also restaurant so you can take a dinner with good beer. Hotel is close to the highways so we were little sceptic about the noise however we were wrong. Rich and great breakfast!
The hotel was perfect, it feels like the owners thought about every little detail in order for the guests to fill at home. Claudia was very helpful and welcoming. The room was perfectly clean and the small kitchen was well equipped.
Excelent location, ski bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Nice breakfast buffet, comfortable rooms with balcony and beautiful relaxing sauna. Perfect vacation.
The room was OK, the breakfast also. Nothing special, a regular Austrian small hotel. The a' la carte restaurant of the hotel is very nice and the food is delicious.
