Beautiful little village with a great park area, beautiful flowers and garden areas which are beautifully looked after, plenty of places to drink coffee but the ice parlour on the corner has a fantastic coffee machine and makes great cappuccino. Bike rental available. Cable car ride to top of mountain is recommended. Plenty of hiking routes.

We did not get to spend too much time in the city of Oberstaufen, but the area is amazing. Bodensee is not too far, as well as Hohenschwangau and Austria. And of course many skiing areas are near by and also ideal for hiking!LiaAustria - 10Scored 10

Beautiful little downtown, currently undergoing some road and sidewalk repairs. Nice restaurants, but some are a little understaffed, took a while to get a drink and place your order, and longer to actually get your meal. Not a problem at lunch but dinner was difficult. It is a very small town withal good variation of shops and reataurants. It is a good place to stay for visiting the area, you are close to the Austrian border so a visit to the cable car at Bregenz is worth doing as is a visit to the island of Lindau.PaulSouth Africa

Host was very helpful with tips for some day trips and family friendly activities in the area. Kitchen is very well equipped. Location is close to the downtown and huge playground for kids.
