Small town with a thriving community feel to it. Plenty of good places to eat and drink. During the summer there are cultural events happening weekly. For the walkers there are plenty of walks starting from the town nd plenty of other a short drive away. Munich, Saltsburg and Innsbruck only an hours drive away

Very nice beautiful place to stay alone or with family. I was there already more than 10 times, but wanna come back again and again! Very beautiful nature and fresh air in this place and many kilometers around in Germany and Austria- for me this is the heart of all beuatiful places in this region.

Cute little town close to lots of things to do. Hiking trails (at all levels), bike rental options (E Mountain bikes, very cool), local tourist centre for tips and 1hr drive to both Munich and Salzburg for day trips. We went in summer but it seems that this place is great in winter as well

Great communication with host pre arrival and an amazingly nice welcome basket with all sorts of snacks, a bottle of wine and a home made cake...how nice is that! Location is great for hikes and bike rental in the wider area. We combined our stay with day trips to Salzburg and Munich. Our two teenage kids loved it as well and they had their own room each as the there is a pull out sofa in the living room.RicoCzech Republic

The owners of the property are very polite, kind and helpful. There is also sauna in the hotel (included in the price), and massage (need to be booked separately). Nearby area is full of wonderful hiking paths with wonderful picturesque views and huts where you can stay and enjoy the nature.

The hotel is just 10 minutes by walking away from Reit im Winkl. The bed was very comfortable. There is a inside pool in the hotel, we used only once but we enjoyed it.
