Feldberg is a beautiful town and when there is snow, it most definately would be a nice ski-resort. However, we forgot to order the snow 😉. Better luck next time 😊 However Titisee and Schluchsee a nearby if you want to make an excursion. Even so, we enjoyed our stay in Feldberg.

The hotel was in great location but the other parameters were bad - the service was bad ' the staff were not nice and not ready to help , the breakfast was very poor - we were exttremely dissapointed of this hotel as it had great recommendations which turned our not to be true !!!
Feldberg as a town was not an interesting place and there was nothing there to see or do - maybe for children but not for couples !!!

We hiked there in July- views were tremendous on all sides, and enjoyed the cable car ride up the mountain. There were some easy walking routes and cemented paths making it easy for children or those without good hiking shoes. And there were also paths which were rocky and steeper for the more able hikers.

A beautiful city to explore in.
A beautiful city to explore in. The highlands of the black forest is nature at its best. We are not professional hikers and didn't have the right shoes but nevertheless we walked and saw a lot of places on foot. Starting from the House of Nature, we rode the cable car to the Bismarck monument and onward to the summit. What a spectacular view from there of the alps and the black forest. Then we ventured the tracks going down to the Feldsee,a serene place. As we just stayed a night there, we only had the chance to see these places. We shall be back and stay longer next time.
We had a wonderful stay here! The room is very nice, spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable. The view from the terrace is one of a kind. Breakfast buffet is extensive and dinner is very good. The staff was very friendly. As a cherry on top you can reserve the sauna for free as a guest every day which was the perfect end to every day. We went for a skiing trip, the drive to the ski slope was about 10 minutes. You can also have a super nice walk around the lake across from the hotel. Thanks for having us! We will be pleased to come back.
I loved the absolutely wonderful staff, who treated our family very kindly and provided for many of the childrens' whims. :) Provides for a wonderful change from the norm. Happy children, happy family. Great time.
The location is as close as you can get to the summit of Feldberg.
Food and beer where very tasty and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was not overwhelming, but very tasty and provided something for various tastes.
This place is AMAZING
I traveled with my husband and our 2 kids. This place had everything we needed. A beautiful apartment with a green forest view to the backyard. The backyard had some games for the kids and a small trampoline which kept them busy when we enjoyed the hotel breakfast. The host was super nice and very helpful with tips. Even did our laundry because the one in our apartment building was broken.
Of course the lake opposite the hotel is beautiful and a wonderful place to walk around or just sit and enjoy. The breakfast as well as the other food in the location was exceptional. The hotel itself is very modern and has a stylish interior. There is everything you need in your room. The staff was exceptionally friendly, in the hotel Köhlerei am See as well as in the partner hotel.
Very nice location. Staff is very friendly. Nice talking to Richard, he was very helpful. It has nice terese restaurant. Good to relax after walk to Feldberg. We are vegetarian and had enough option to choose from the menu. Room was nice and cosy. We had room in attic with view over the valley from the window. Very nice view. It was worth staying here.
The owners of the place are exceptionally nice and welcoming. The hotel is very well located, accessible by bus, at the feet of a lot of paths to go hiking. Food in the restaurant was delicious (amazing Rösti). The room was confortable and the bathrooms warm, nice and clean. I absolutely recommend the hotel for a homey feeling!
Excellent hotel a short walk up from the station. Great food, breakfast superb, half board dinner was a very good four course meal with a choice from a couple of options each day. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Konuscard included in the stay gave free public transport which made for great walking.
The place is very quiet and 4 minutes drive to Lidl and a nice cafe. The host Carmen was very nice and welcoming. There is a small river outside the hotel. We are a family of 6 and we got a two bedroom apartment that was very comfortable. I am happy to recommend this hotel.
Great communication with super friendly host, great location with nice sauna and pool (cost 90 Euro for 2-3 days because water/heat is renewed).
Super close to Feldberg, ski lifts, etc. - we had a tremendous stay! We also made a very nice walk directly from the house.
The food at the hotel was very good, both breakfast and dinner. Just be advised it’s a set menu at dinner but they did have a vegetarian option and kids could opt for schnitzel, pasta, or nuggets if the main course wasn’t something they would eat.
Hotel Diana is a great place to stay. Affordable, comfortable and close to Titisee (a beautiful lake). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was simple but there was everything you needed.
Breakfast and dinner at the hotel were both wonderful and staff was excellent and informative. Room was good size with great views. Pool and sauna area was also great after a day snowboarding.
The hotel was so well thought out from the decore to the l’atout of the rooms The hotel staff was very kind. The breakfast was excellent and had very high quality ingredients and variety.
The hotel's location is great, it has a nice pool and spa area, the breakfast was excellent, a variety of choices and the stuff were very nice and friendly.
