We were amazed by the location near the lake with clean air, nice ambience in the Hotel Restaurant, with good food! I should have reserved 2 or 3 nights there. We booked 3 rooms all of us enjoyed it. Can swim, water activities and more.

Wanaka is the most beautiful place to visit

Wanaka is the most beautiful place to visit The views of the lake and surrounding area are really stunning. It’s seemed a really peaceful place with just enough to do. Plenty of eating out places to choose from and many activities and places to visit. We will definitely be back.

A wholesome town just outside of Queenstown.

A wholesome town just outside of Queenstown. I could've stayed here weeks. It was a great location to be based at for Roy's Peak Summit, more hiking and days spent by the lake. Bonus activity was a dinner and movie night at Cinema Paradiso. A really lovely town with a very live-able atmosphere.

Wanaka itself is a lovely spot.

Wanaka itself is a lovely spot. It was lovely without being too much of a tourist trap. The art gallery I visited was very good, and the two local restaurants also good and reasonably priced. The staff at the Thai restaurant were especially friendly and helpful. I wish I had stayed long enough to drive out to a few places from Wanaka.

staff is very friendly and helpful at the front desk, Carla ( I hope that I didn't spell your name wrong. tried to recall from memory )and Dimpy are super nice and helpful! but the hotel could do better on the wifi connection..difficult to connect, and almost no connection at all during the three-day day, two-night stay.. excellent lake view from our room!

This was a great stay, easy to find, very well presented. The house is all to yourself and the bedrooms are very spacious and the double bathroom is a huge win for any families. 5 minute drive into town and various lake entrances. Facilities were great, comfortable furniture and feels like a home more than a hotel / accommodation.

The motel was exactly what we needed, we were a parent and two kids there for a winter skiing holiday. The motel was quiet, warm, clean and had the basic kitchen facilities we needed, to have a breakfast or make a snack. It represented good value for money. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

I pretty much never do reviews. I travel throughout NZ & Aus staying in Motels & Hotels. The friendliness of the staff is outstanding. Room was good & what a fantastic view. Also booked a spa at sunset which was amazing especially with the view of the mountain range. Highly recommend the place.

The standard of this hotel was much higher than we expected. The room was immaculate, well furnished and spacious. There was plenty of parking and only a 5 minutes drive from the lake front and the famous tree. The guy in reception was friendly and helpful.

The rural setting was beautiful. Waking up to SILENCE was FABULOUS !! Unlike staying in a motel or hotel .... there was no-one else to make noise or interrupt your stay .... THAT, made it all wonderful. We would stay again and recommend it to family and friends.
