The Mountain View’s were beautiful and the walking track varied from easy to difficult. The town was very pleasant, clean and well taken care of. The pools were wonderful and especially enjoyed being able to swim laps in the big pool which was never crowded. Overall it was a very pleasant place for a vacation

Hanmer Springs is lovely.
Hanmer Springs is lovely. This motel overpriced, cheap and nasty. False advertising using "premium".
Hanmer is popular but don't resort to booking at this motel if you find others booked out.

Nice small village with plenty to do.
Nice small village with plenty to do. Many walking and bike trails, nice shops and the Thermal pools were great for all ages. Plenty to keep families amused.
The whole town had a nice vib.
The down side would have to be the cost of eating out at the cafes and restaurants.

Great thermal pools.
Great thermal pools. My wife booked had two sessions in the spa rooms - a facial and a massage - while she was doing that I ventured on the new waterslides (at the age of 71) - they are now included in your admission charge. As we we were staying for two nights, we booked a two day ticket to the pools, this is good value and it's great to be able to pop to the pools early in the morning when there are fewer people around.
One evening we had a good meal at the Hanmer Springs Hotel (where we stayed), the second night we tried the Spice Village Indian restaurant, which I thoroughly recommend.
Great lunch one day at the Powerhouse cafe - by far the best cafe in Hanmer in my opinion.
We also went on the quad bikes at Hanmer Attractons - we were able to choose a quad buggy which is a two-person vehicle. This is well organised, with an instructor/guide who puts the emphasis on safety.

The hot springs are a must - beautifully landscaped... pricey but good discount for over 60s! So many walking trails here - need to come back. Eating options all a bit same same - but plenty of them.
Stunning location overlooking Hanmer Range, situated five mins outside of Hanmer Springs in secluded and quiet location. Property has only three rooms and a cottage. It is also a wedding venue. There is no restaurant and no breakfast but cheese board and your own bottle of wine on arrival, included in the price. This place is real luxury, spotlessly clean and well run.
Beautiful lodge set on the hill with an amazing view of Hanmer village and basin. Our room was very comfortable and offered lovely views of the manicured gardens with the birds frequenting the birdhouses below our deck off our room. Breakfast was excellent and our hosts were very welcoming. We highly recommend 8 on Oregon!!
The location great, The rooms were in a great part of the Hotel Beds were comfortable , The Meal & service was just the best , we were very happy with our stay , We did feel very sorry for the lady on check in as people were very unhappy that rooms were not ready, I would recommend your Hotel to Friends
Everything was clean etc..... Location good. As we booked very late, we were lucky go get this studio motel..... but it was very small..... I would not book it again (this studio) no comfortable seating and cramped.... but we were happy with it for 2 nights. We would stay at the motels again though
Oakview was amazing. We have travelled to different places around the world and this was right up with the best. Everything has be thought of. Luxury fittings, dark curtains, comfortable bed…the list could go on. Close enough to walk to all Hanmer Springs has to offer. We will be back for sure.
Spotlessly clean room with super comfy bed. Some really nice touches such as chocolates on arrival and access to bathrobes and slippers - often not available in motels. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location with an easy walk into town. Would definitely stay here again.
The reception manager personally escorted me to our room, which was a nice touch, and offered us towels to use at the Hanmer Spa.
Parking spaces were wide.
Once inside we were greeted by chocolates laid against a pinecone arrangement on the bed, and tasteful décor.
It’s a good value room to stay in Hanmer, good location, only few minutes walking to everywhere including spa, pool, restaurants!! Good shower, strong pressure. We even have extra towels for our activities. Staffs are nice and friendly, tried their best to help you
The locations was superb. Hanmer springs isn’t very large, but this is right in the thick of the township. Walking distance to everything.
The hotel looks very grand from the front and the gardens are nice.
The garden villas look like the place to book here.
Right in centre of Hanmer Springs. Great facilities with fantastic very caring owners. They could do enough for us. We recommend this place to everyone. Excellent room with bathroom included and situated down one end so very quiet.
We both loved it.
Great place surrounded by forest, reminded me of school trips as a kid! Cabins are basic but cheap, kitchens are spacious and very well equipped. Many showers and toilets, you never need to wait. Close to walking tracks. We had a great time.
Pool and spa was great for the kids. Room directly across from it lovely!.
Close walk to middle of township and the Hanmer Springs Pools.
Apartment was very clean and had everything you could possibly need to tend to a young family.
Peaceful stay in Hanmer, very close to the forest park / sculpture walk. Would be great for kids / families as there is a trampoline/play amenities. The accommodation met all our needs & the Easter eggs were a nice touch.
The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk to shops and pools at Hanmer Springs. The staff were super friendly, and I really liked how they walked me to the unit then showed me everything inside
Highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Hanmer Springs. It was a couple of minutes walk from the thermal pools, close to a couple of good restaurants, and was a very comfortable place to stay.
