Loved it years ago, but the main street has been changed alarmingly with the monstrous black 'resort' which spoils the feel of it. The fire memorial is wonderful and parks and streetscape is lovely at the bottom end.
The cafes are great, the supermarket was fine for self catering. Bruno's garden is fantastic - even better than it used to be. Surrounding area - drives and walks at the Meeting of the Waters are still wonderful.

Marysville is a town with beautiful scenery and walking tracks. While there we visited Bruno Art n Sculpture Garden which was truly amazing. Steavenson Falls is a breathtaking place to be. It gets crowded in the afternoon. We arrived there before 9am and was able to enjoy it. There are nice cafes and pubs in the area.

Wonderful short stay, the Steavensons Falls (at night) a must and Bruno’s Sculpture display a definite must do allowing twice the time you think you you will need is an absolute must - this place is world class! The ELKana Lodge was delightful and luxurious to stay! Picturesque townscape and friendly shops, great food and huge shout out to the community resilience for bouncing back after 2099 disaster - the entire town should be proud!

Marysville is a charming little town, small but cosy.
Marysville is a charming little town, small but cosy. Very good places to have breakfast. There are shops for renting snow equipment and chains (if the weather warrants it) Lake Mountain is only a 20 minute drive away.
The only thing is that the mobile phone reception is bad and there is no internet or wifi.
Pro Tip: The information centre has a wifi network which you can borrow to set up your maps or check routes on your phone.
We stayed in the Autumn Cottage. It was perfectly located at the top of the main street in Marysville. The cottage was beautifully decorated and had a lovely cosy feel to it. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with a double shower. It had a well equipped kitchenette and a sheltered porch to sit and enjoy the pretty garden. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would happily return for another visit.
The setting is really beautiful, Marysville is a gorgeous town with lots to see and do, or just kick back and enjoy the serenity. The room was comfortable, our dog was very happy, and the owners were really friendly and took great care of us. They even catered for a gluten free breakfast for me after I let them know I needed it, and had lots of suggestions for things to see and do.
Great location, great property and amazingly managed by Janine!
The barbecue located behind a chapel was the most picturesque barbecue we have ever had! The rooms and beds were very comfortable!
I had travelled to Marysville with friends and family to celebrate my birthday and thanks to all the facilities provided it has become a memory I will cherish for long!
The cottage was easy to find and was in close proximity to the market. The property was well maintained and had an amazing vibe. The view from the room was mesmerizing..
Phil and Ian were really helpful and went out of their way to assist us and make our stay pleasant. Would definitely visit again.
Very cute and cosy studio apartment. Between the wood fire and A/C the apartment stayed very warm. Kitchen was very well stocked with utensils. Spa was a lovely way to finish a busy day out and about around Marysville. Will definitely be back.
The mood in this place is so different compared to a typical hotel stay. I felt like I was taken back to a beautiful time where everything is more peaceful and calmer. Perfection was seen and felt in each and every detail.
right in the heart of Marysville, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. bed was comfortable with good pillows, shower and bathtub in bathroom, it’s all in one room like a studio but still comfortable.
Location was excellent bed was comfortable room was clean.
Access to room was good parking plentiful.
Price of room was a little steep as the room was fairly basic and similar to other much cheaper hotels.
The cabins where in a beautiful setting very private and clean everything was very well presented, it was a very short stroll into Marysville town center. We will definitely be back for another stay.
Fantastic modern villa, with all the latest tech (smart door, SmartTV and Wi-Fi). Great location to all the shops and cafe in Marysville whilst tucked away from the busy street during peak times.
Clean and comfortable lodging in a great location. Located on the Main Street in Marysville, beside one of the ski equipment stores. Good value. Comfortable beds. Would definitely stay again.
We had a wonderful, relaxing time here, even with over 30 degrees heat everyday. It was the perfect getaway for our family of four. The garden and mountain surrounds was picturesque.
Best location in Marysville. Quaint, quiet little cottage. Basic setup so as long as you’re not precious it’s absolutely perfect. River, bbq and playground all a stones throw away!
