Loved it years ago, but the main street has been changed alarmingly with the monstrous black 'resort' which spoils the feel of it. The fire memorial is wonderful and parks and streetscape is lovely at the bottom end.
The cafes are great, the supermarket was fine for self catering. Bruno's garden is fantastic - even better than it used to be. Surrounding area - drives and walks at the Meeting of the Waters are still wonderful.

Marysville is a town with beautiful scenery and walking tracks. While there we visited Bruno Art n Sculpture Garden which was truly amazing. Steavenson Falls is a breathtaking place to be. It gets crowded in the afternoon. We arrived there before 9am and was able to enjoy it. There are nice cafes and pubs in the area.

Wonderful short stay, the Steavensons Falls (at night) a must and Bruno’s Sculpture display a definite must do allowing twice the time you think you you will need is an absolute must - this place is world class! The ELKana Lodge was delightful and luxurious to stay! Picturesque townscape and friendly shops, great food and huge shout out to the community resilience for bouncing back after 2099 disaster - the entire town should be proud!

Marysville is a charming little town, small but cosy.
Marysville is a charming little town, small but cosy. Very good places to have breakfast. There are shops for renting snow equipment and chains (if the weather warrants it) Lake Mountain is only a 20 minute drive away.
The only thing is that the mobile phone reception is bad and there is no internet or wifi.
Pro Tip: The information centre has a wifi network which you can borrow to set up your maps or check routes on your phone.
The cottage is spacious, light, attractively furnished and well equipped. Each cottage is surrounded by a pretty garden giving privacy and a view from every window. It is a tranquil setting, perfect for a restful holiday. We used the wood fire one evening, which was cosy. Simple meals were easy to prepare in the kitchen,. Marysville is a gem of a town, and it is an easy walk from the cottage to nearby tracks, shops etc. We visited the annual art show too, which showcases the talents of this small but vibrant community.
We loved the house, especially how it was a constant heat. So comfortable and equipped.
The people were like family to us, always available when needed and so generous and caring.
The food was great and an excellent atmosphere.
We can't say highly enough about the whole experience, it will be a holiday talked about forever just because they made it comfortable and EASY.
LOVE YOU GUYS.
The cottage was easy to find and was in close proximity to the market. The property was well maintained and had an amazing vibe. The view from the room was mesmerizing..
Phil and Ian were really helpful and went out of their way to assist us and make our stay pleasant. Would definitely visit again.
The room was very big, even better than a five star hotel. It was absolutely neat and clean. There was a sports room where my son and I played table tennis when it got dark. The price was reasonable as well. The lady at the reception was very welcoming. It is two minutes drive to the centre.
Lovely garden and the views over the hills were magnificent. Marysville is very pretty in all seasons and this property allows you to take it in without even going outside. Location was very convenient, the property has everything you need ans is very comfortable.
We LOVED our stay at the Marysville Holiday Park. The scenery is just so beautiful. Our two girls (7 & 6) were so happy jumping on the jumping pillow and playing in the river all day long as I relaxed (and supervised) while reading my book.
It is a lovely cottage, beautifully designed, warm and cosy with beautiful views and in the heart of Marysville. Close to walks etc but also close to shops etc. Wendy our host was so helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
The cabins where in a beautiful setting very private and clean everything was very well presented, it was a very short stroll into Marysville town center. We will definitely be back for another stay.
Beautiful cottage in centre of town. Very clean & tastefully decorated. Gorgeous gardens.
Large double spa bath was perfect after a long day of hiking the many walking paths around Marysville.
The room was clean, very comfortable, quiet and the hosts were amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Marysville.
We had a wonderful, relaxing time here, even with over 30 degrees heat everyday. It was the perfect getaway for our family of four. The garden and mountain surrounds was picturesque.
Best location in Marysville. Quaint, quiet little cottage. Basic setup so as long as you’re not precious it’s absolutely perfect. River, bbq and playground all a stones throw away!
