This hotel was at a convenient location after descending the col de Izoard at the end of our first full day.
The temperature outside was 34c. The hotel provided exactly the kind of break we needed after quite a demanding day.
After food and refreshment, a good nights sleep and a superb breakfast we felt well prepared for our next day's riding.
I'd recommend this stop to anyone else doing the same trip!

The Maurienne valley is absolutely stunning, once you get past the "industrial" bit, with a scattering of lesser known ski resorts (to brits).
Spectacular views and access to some remarkable ski tours make this a great area to visit. A car is a definite bonus, though there are regular buses to other areas.
We only ate at the Vieille Poste - 3 times, no need to go elsewhere!
Most of Lanslebourg has avoided the architectural ugliness of many other ski resorts, and some bits are genuinely lovely.

Location was great and everything is on site that we needed.
Location was great and everything is on site that we needed. Very close to ski lift/ski school. Apartment was comfortable and appreciate all the small touches. Ski locker on the ground floor, a massive bonus.
One toilet for 6 adults is not really enough but we managed. We had 2 showers at least.
Disappointed that the spa facilities were closed as that was a big reason for booking but we did get told in advance that they wouldn’t be open. Pool was too cold, only went in once.

We were passing through and this was a convenient spot for us to overnight. It is a stunning area with loads to do and we will certainly consider returning at some point to see more of what the area has to offer.

Great apartment in complex with a free spa and outdoor pool. Secure underground parking with bag drop off point. Pool gets a little windy and not the warmest but is a real bonus for the apartment price. Close to the the cabin for walks in the summer. A 10 - 15 min walk to Lanslevillard or Lanslebourg with shops and bars, plus the complex does a bakery order service each day. Val Cenis is a great valley for summer activities, walking, high ropes, visiting beautiful villages, cheese, lakes and forts.
We wanted a reasonably comfortable base for a ski touring week at a fair price. The Alpazur ticked those boxes. It's probably the best located hotel for the ski lifts and a great restaurant across the road. Can't comment on the food at the hotel. Our rooms had been upgraded recently to an acceptable standard, plenty of hot water and having a kettle etc was a welcome bonus.
The hotel is very nicely located off the main road through the valley and has beautiful views on the mountains. The host is very friendly and the dinner was very well cooked from high quality products and nourished a hungry mountain pass cyclist very well. I also liked the breakfast. Don't miss the yoghurt - it is incredibly creamy and fresh.
Property was a good location to the shops, restaurants, free bus stop and ski lift. The apartment had most things you would need, except a proper oven but other than that the facilities were good. Beds were comfortable and shower was hot.
The host was very responsive, although all comms were all in French so expect to need to translate.
Amazing apartment, huge living area and a balcony in the sunshine with breathtaking views. Equipped with everything we needed. 2 minute walk to bars and restaurants. Perfect location to visit the Col du Mont Cenis, only a 15 minute drive. Worth noting -the address, number 7 is opposite number 26! Near to the church.
The apartment was very well located in Lanslebourg. It is very close to restaurants and shops, including ski rental shops and a bakery right down stairs.
The apartment was also very warm and cosy, which was welcomed coming in from the cold ski slopes.
The views from the balcony of the mountains were fantastic!
Rooms are very clean and has enough light. We even had a little patio. Breakfast is served with local fresh produce and was excellent. The host is very friendly and always happy to help. The hotel is close to ski lifts, you can walk (3-4 min) but we used the car. Plenty of parking spots and all free.
- Large and modern studio with fully refurbished bathroom
- Great location close to the centre of Lanslebourg-Mont-Cenis
- Private garage and large terrace
- Small kitchen with all essential cooking tools
