Beautiful little resort, centrally nestled in a much larger ski area which is very accessible from here. Lots of facilities and a party atmosphere if you’re looking for that. Family friendly, the horse and cart and decor of the place is very magical!

An absolutely beautiful place, compact with everything within a short walk and very family friendly. Skiers and non-skiers can enjoy it equally. Good skiing, but if you are an advanced skier expecting to conquer a different slope in every run, and lots of blacks this might be smaller than you would expect. Still, for families and less experienced skiers a superb destination

Really enjoyed Avoriaz with skiing for all abilities including some fun runs for kids and big kids :) Restaurants on slopes for lunch/snacks. Plenty toilets on slopes in busier areas.
Avoriaz is a car free zone so arrangements need to be made to get yourself and luggage to apartment from the drop off point. Horse and carts available and also a self push style cart to put your luggage in.
The main street area for eating out gets busy, you would need to book in plenty time or go early to a couple of the restaurants to guarantee not queuing. Friendly and helpful people in the resort.

Skiing was amazing! will definitely be back.
Skiing was amazing! will definitely be back. Remember only to book avoriaz only passes if not skiing outside of the avoriaz area otherwise you will pay through the roof for porte du soleil area when not needed.
Ensure you take cold and flu medicine with you as the pharmacy or supermarket doesnt have this kind of medicine, what they will sell you is a very expensive vitamin that doesnt do anything at all!

Avoriaz is quite high so the snow conditions were very good, even though we were there late in the season. I like the fact that there are no cars in the resort and its quite easy to get around. There are some good bars and restaurants in the village centre. Everything is quite compact so you are never far from somewhere to eat and drink. We will be returning to Avoriaz for sure!

There is a Main Street where you will find everything you need all in one place. The supermarket is great for grabbing cheaper food / snacks if your apartment has a small kitchen I’d recommend not eating out daily as it can get pricey because obviously it’s tourist prices. There are plenty of restaurants open daily and into the night..with a few take away places also.
The help centre is great, all the staff where very helpful, unfortunately we had our skis stolen from our balcony area, the staff recommended the police, but they just told us to report it here in the U.K..not so helpful!
As a group we had a fantastic trip, slopes are great for beginners and intermediates, they have a wide range of ski parks for all abilities, we would definitely visit again!
The spa was great, the saunas were very well maintained, no need to reserve a time/slot and we could stay as long as we wanted. Not full of children in the end of January after 6pm
The 6 people room had 2 floors, the kitchen area had enough space and well provided of plates and tools.
The bakery service was great
And skiing back directly to hotel’s ski lockers was perfect.
There is a shower/toilet available for use after checkout in case one still ski on the last day
Location was at the top of the resort, but were able to ski in and ski out. Access to the resort can be accessed through several building via lift/stairs and arrive in the centre of town. SnowCat Taxis are available 24/7 and the telephone number is located in the apartment lift making transfers back to the central car park very easy and good value for money. No need to struggle with your luggage!
Breakfast was excellent with great staff. Very cool pool with jet streams.
Overall extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Especially Camille and her male colleague in the afternoon (sorry don't know his name) and the restaurant and bar staff.
When we had problems, they tried and addressed them.
The lounge and bar are so inviting and make for a sweet family atmosphere.
I recently stayed at a Antares in Avoriaz and overall, my experience was satisfactory.
The property itself was in good condition, clean, and well-maintained. The accommodations were comfortable and provided a cozy atmosphere during my visit. The staff were friendly and always ready to assist with any queries or issues that arose during my stay.
Central location but away from the noise. Great facilities and entertainment at the hotel. Our 3-year-old enjoyed the kids club. The food was nice but limited variety. Evening music and quizzes were fun for both kids and adults. Bar served nice cocktails and terrace snacks were great after a day of skiing.
The studio was spacious enough for the two of us, and had great views over the mountains from the balcony. Relatively well-equipped kitchen, fine for cooking basic dinners and lunches. The location of the building is great, it only takes a few minutes to get onto the nearest ski run.
fantastic location to ski in and out, local bars and restaurants a 5 min walk. The accomadation spacious with friendly and helpful staff on reception. This is the second year we have stayed at Electra, and hope to be back next year!
The location was great. Very close to the ski lifts and Apres Ski. The room was spacious. There is one toilet room, but 2 full showers. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The beds were comfortable.
The whole experience was excellent. The hotel was beautiful, the staff accommodating and friendly and the location and amenities were just what I needed during my vacation. Highly recommended.
