Montgenevre is well placed at the French end of the Milky Way ski area, so you can ski over into Italy on the extended lift pass. Lots of areas to explore. Long transfer from Geneva - flight to Turin preferable.

Great ski town for beginners through to advanced.
Great ski town for beginners through to advanced. My 17 year old daughter noted the lack of apres ski for her age group, and I noted the lack of open fires to warm feet at when coming off the slopes. We also found it a bit difficult to find bars/restaurants on the slopes.

perfect small resort with great lifts and variety in the area. Hotels and apartments to cater for all needs. Such great value cost for a lift pass too when considering skiing for a whole week. Only 1hr 20 from Turin and an easy drive too. Easy to get around and great places to eat and drink too

An excellent family resort.
An excellent family resort. Plenty of cruising reds with a gradient that challenges intermediate skiers to improve their technique.
Nothing is very far away from you in the resort and local bars provide good hospitality. It's a shame there aren't more mountain cafes scattered around.

One of the best ski resorts.
One of the best ski resorts. It is not a fancy Meritxell o Chamonix but you have it all. Good and long ski runs. Good mix of black, red and blues. Village is small and manageable with good offer of bars and restaurants. Every year it improves and this was our 8th year. There is a luck of luxurious chalets and properties but what is on offer is really good. Plus is that you can ski on French and Italian side if snow good!
VTF was an excellent accommodation for people on a budget. We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day—all of which were traditional French foods. The Chef was very accommodating to my Vegan partner and made separate dishes for her. The staff across the whole hotel were exceptional and very friendly. The location is the location—it's a 5-minute walk to the slopes, but we booked knowing that. The boot room was ideally located beside the hotel. The room was spacious and had everything you needed for a week away.
Loved this hotel. Central to skiing area, staff were lovely, especially Marjorie who assisted us find the most suitable accommodation for our family of girls. Pool & facilities an extra luxurious bonus after a great day of skiing. Cooking facilities in each area. Bars &;restartants next door. Snowcabs suitable and reliable taxi transfer to Airport. Hope to return some day. A storage area for ski gear downstairs
central location. Beautiful view and able to enjoy the sunshine on the balcony. Discount offered for ski rental. Supermarket at 50 meters. Quiet. Small village but really good as everything is around. Able to leave the skis close to the slopes if you rent at Intersport so super convenient ! Will come back ! Highly recommend ESI ski school.
Great location - right in the heart of the action in Montgenevre! Despite being on one of the main roads, the appartment was surprisingly very quiet. The appartment benefots from a big, sunny terrace with a view to the mountains. Excellent communication and availability of the staff before and during the trip.
Everything was great. I work at a 5* Hotel and booking a 2* Hotel it made me a bit worried how everything will be. However I must say that the staff was welcoming and friendly. I felt comfortable and must say everything exceeded my expectations 😁 I want to thank all the staff for making my stay perfect 😁
The hotel is a bit outdated. But it is well located and clean. The staff is very friendly. The price-performance ratio is very good. The Wi-Fi is not fast, but reliable and stable. There is free parking nearby (100m). Towels are changed every day
Lovely apartment and well presented and very clean. Nice place for a family to stay for a few days in Montgenevre and easily accessible.
Bunkbeds are ideal for children, or close acquaintances, as in corridor opposite bathroom and toilet.
A little hotel connected to the bar/restaurant below. The room was small, but comfy and quiet. The breakfast was solid and the hotel is right in the middle of town, such that there is a town - Montgenevre is small and not very interesting.
Loved the location, with the possibility to ski directly from the property. It is very convenient, especially for families, as the troupe could just put on boots and skis and go off to take classes.
Location is perfect for snowboarding/skiing. The hotel has an area to store your board/skis and change into your boots. Rooms are great, basic but cosy while still being spacious.
The hotel was perfect, the staff were friendly and unobtrusive but always available to help
I have no negatives other than poor wifi which could be a good thing
