Beautiful traditional family run hotel. Dinner was as good as Michelin star! The menu was typical of the area, plenty choice and the food was presented very well in deed. Great wine list. Breakfast was varied both hot and cold options and again local produce including fresh breads

I came to bicycle the Stelvio. The ride was fantastic.
I came to bicycle the Stelvio. The ride was fantastic. Go early as later on in the day there are a lot of cars and motorcycles all wanting to race up and down. You can still do the ride, but its nicer when you have the quiet and less traffic. I rode up from the Prada side, which is the toughest climb and also less traffic. Coming up the Bormio side is a bit easier ride but this is a huge ski resort and there is a ton of traffic going up for sightseeing.
I don't write a lot of reviews, but this hotel deserves all the positives I can give it. In retrospect, we wish we had scheduled to stay more than one night. The property and rooms are exceptionally clean and look almost new. The five course dinner (which we didn't know about until we arrived) is phenomenal. So is the breakfast. Conveniently situated on the east side of the Stelvio Pass and is perfect for exploring and hiking. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Location is excellent for Stelvio pass. Family run business where you are treated as friends rather than guests. Food options are B&B or half board. the half board option is a five course home cooked meal prepared but the excellent chef. the accommodation is very clean and upto date. for bikers they offer to dry your gear if needed. there are locked garages for bike but plenty of safe parking on site
We stayed at Hotel Gallia for a base for cycling in the area. A garage for storage of bicycles was provided so we didn't have to haul them up to the room. The hotel is right alongside the Stelvio pass road, but the windows and wall provided sufficient sound deadening and it wasn't an issue. The hotel provided excellent breakfast and dinners, a nice perk for this remote location.
Very handy for Stelvio pass. Arrived on motorcycle and greeted by owners mother who very quickly directed me to excellent parking opposite. it is clear the owners pay close attention too detail, everything was in very good order, recently redecorated and very comfortable. Good dinner, breakfast and beers.
My room had a very good modern bathroom with excellent shower.
Beautiful view from the terrace, peaceful neighbourhood, spacious well-equipped apartment, very close to Stelvio Pass. Due to its excellent location ideal for hikers or anyone who is interested climbing the alpine road either with bicycle, motorbike or car. Host was flexible with late check-in, it's a big plus.
Stunning family run hotel at the bottom of Stelvio pass. Perfect location for exploring Stelvio and the area. Lovely room with a stunning view. Breakfast was exceptional, with a great variety. Restaurant in the hotel very good, and reasonably priced. very friendly and accommodating staff.
Traveling by bike up and over the Stelvio pass, this B&B was one of the options to stay at and I'm happy we did. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, the staff very friendly, and there was a locked area for bicycles including tools and a pump. The views are outstanding (of course).
Fabulous location with great view over the mountains, big and clean room, very comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and dinner is a must! Super friendly and helpful staff! I definitely recommend this hotel!
The comfort of the room is sufficient for a short stay. However, the hotel's excellent restaurant and its location at the foot of the Stelvio Pass are particularly noteworthy.
Looked at the reviews when booking and this hotel lives up to the reviews. The staff, rooms and food are all amazing. Highly recommend the 5 course meal to anyone visiting.
The staff was exceptional. The hotel is on the right warm legs/engine distance from the beginning of the Stelvio pass. Great view. Great village full of nice people.
