The Hotel Ambra was gorgeous and our room had a magnificent view! Location couldn't have been better! Great restaurants and shops were all walkable as was the Faloria cable car. The breakfast employees were amazing and we never had to wait more than a minute or two for our morning cappuccinos.

Hotel Oasis is a lovely hotel, close to the Falloria cable car, and just a short walk to the center of Cortina. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Rooms were very clean and we loved the balcony with views of the mountains. When we arrived, ski season was winding down and there was no breakfast, but the dining room looked very cozy. There were options in the morning just a minute or two walk, so it was fine. Another big plus was the parking on site. Would definitely return!

Great base for exploring the Dolomites.
Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are lot of lodging, activity and food options. Staying at Misurina, however, is magical and peaceful. There are just enough options for lodging and food. It's also very close to Tre Cime and Lago di Braies. If you want a quieter and more peaceful stay, I would go with Misurina.

Lake Misurina is on the way when you drive to the trailhead parking for Tre Cime from Cortina di'Ampesso. Stay overnight at the lakeside will be a good choice as you may have a fantastic sunrise view at the lakeside!

An ideal base for hiking Tre Cime Di Lavaredor. Driving to Rifugio Auronzo, the starting point of the hike takes only 15 to 20 minutes. If you don't have a car, there are buses travelling regularly from Misurina to Rifugio Auronzoto. Besides, Lake Misurina itself is beautiful in its own right.AAnonymous

The hosts were very helpful, we have an electric car and they provided a power plug so we could plug over night the car, also, even though we did not reserved a dinner table on time, they really tried to provide us a table. The room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable, for sure we will come back again.

Private parking is a big benefit - it's hard to find a parking spot in Misurina. It's in a walking distance from the busses to Tre Cime, so there's no need to wake up crazy early to be able to get to the trail around Tre Cime. The stuff was very nice. The apartment we had was spacious, with 2 separate bedrooms (kids had their own bunk bed - it was an attraction itself) and a leaving room. The bed was very comfortable.
