Went to malcesine on 2 occasions during our stay in Italy. Stayed at Hotel Internationale and then came on ferry to explore the castle. Town is busy with tourists but plenty of reasonably priced restaurants with amazing views. Narrow cobbled streets. Castle definitely worth going to and to climb steep steps to top gives an amazing panoramic view of lake and mountains. Likewise the cable car to the top of Monte Baldo. Great Service from everyone at the hotel from Front desk , Owners, waiters and waitress. Amazing views, Delicious breakfast every morning! Room were cleaned every day. Very nice pool with unforgettable views. Plenty of parking spot under grapes trees ( Amazing ). We have room with balcony facing the street and the views of Lake Garda and the mountain, It was gorgeous! Highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you all hotel staffs and all members.

An extraordinary city located directly on lake garda with a beautiful cityscape and lot's of good, though a bit pricy restaurant. Also an easy access to the mountains for joyful and also serious hikeing is available thanks to a cable car.

An amazing trip. Great location with fantastic views. Cable car trip I would highly recommend. The town is beautiful. Lots of amazing places to eat. Beautiful views. Wear good shoes or trainers as the streets are cobbled in the town. Lots of hills to climb so be prepared for that. People are welcoming and friendly. Attended a friends wedding and this was a perfect and beautiful location. Definitely returning.

Big thank you to Lisa and her family as they could not have been more attentive to our needs, responding either in person or via WhatsApp almost immediately. The apartment was located right in the middle of town, but still quiet, and we were able to walk everywhere. They do have parking which allowed us to safely leave our vehicle during our visit. No wifi, Owner was rude, came more than 1.5 hours later to give us excuses why ac didnt work and said he was busy and couldnt leave what he was doing to solve problems. We enjoyed our breakfast (and sometimes dinner) in a beautiful garden that belongs to the hotel. Also, most of the staff, if not all of them, speak good English and German. The location of the hotel is perfect - the beach is across the street, and the village itself (Navene) isn't as touristy and crowded as the neighbouring Malcesine or Torbole.
