Livigno is a beautiful resort...we had the best time there and would highly recommend the skiing, town and location. Food is amazing, people are lovely and we were lucky enough to have great snow during our time there. Designer shopping is in abundance, and being a tax-free haven, the price of food and drink is very low...especially in the supermarkets and off-licence style shops.

I am coming to Livigno for many years, because of the nice location, lots of lifts an ski runs. Short waiting time at the lifts. Prefect organization of every aspect of the tourist activities. Easy access by plane and bus. Free public transport. Constant development and improvement of the area and the facilities. Great atmosphere of the town and the great service of the hard working people of Livigno.

Livigno is a wonderful destination Full of Christmas lights markets ringing bells and baba Natale if you want to experience a white Christmas this is the perfect place to visit. We as a family love doing activities together and skiing was the perfect sport. Livigno is a very commercial small town full of shops, bars, trattorias, restaurants etc, over 1800m above sea level, excellent for holidays in very hot periods such as the ones we are experiencing. Excellent for sportsmen who frequent it in large numbers due to the structures, the altitude, the routes, the tracks. Ignore the duty free zone issue because the only convenient thing is petrol; the rest is normal. A visit to the "Latteria di Livigno" which offers dairy products, cheeses, yoghurt etc is not to be missed. You can take a cognitive tour, you can have breakfast, a snack, lunch, with excellent local products; also nice merchandising with t-shirts etc.

Livigno is a lovely summer get away with lots of outdoors options for activities, excellent food and great shopping options. Quite literally something for everyone. Especially recommend calcheira for typical food and great setting but definitely call to book at they are always full!
