Nice place for skiing.
Nice place for skiing. The city of Bormio is also worth to visit - very cozy atmosphere with the fantastic views! There are also thermal sources in the area - try it out! Visiting and bathing Vasche di Leonardo is very interesting experience! But don't go there at the dark time! The route is very narrow, be cautious! At least take a light with you!

Small town, lovely main street, great shops and restaurants.
Small town, lovely main street, great shops and restaurants. All within easy reach of the snow slopes and summer cycling climbs, including the legendary Stelvio pass. It is easy to walk from most hotels to the centre of town in minutes. The surrounding mountains are stunning.

Bormio in summer is an excellent base for road cyclists, with great climbs in almost every direction, including three of the most famous in the cycling World, namely the Stelvio, Gavia, and Mortirolo passes. Active pursuits aside, the town is a very pretty place to stroll around. It has some great eating and drinking options, and some lovely speciality shops too. And just 1-2km from the town centre, you can choose between the Bagni Nuovi or Bagni Vecchi thermal baths for an amazing spa/wellness experience.

Bormio is a beautiful surprising village, with so much to do...
Bormio is a beautiful surprising village, with so much to do, alternatively take a casual stroll through the town and treat yourself to a coffee in the historic town square at one of the many casual cafe's that dot the area. The private hotel spa's can be experienced by all for a fee, or try the public spa's which are cheaper but are some of the best we have ever experienced not at all what was expected of Italy more a German Hotel 5* or Budapest. For the time of year when it was sweltering & overcrowded at our holiday base of Bellagio, Bormio was a wonderful place to retreat to. I would not hesitate to visit this Village and the surrounding Alpine Ski Villages of which Livigno the Duty Free Ski Town again. The area is spectacular and was well within driving distance say maybe 1.5 hours from Bellagio. Overall I would give Bormio a 10 out of 10 for accommodation choices and the variety of things to do. Walking, Hiking, Ski (in winter), cycling both road and mountain biking, eating, relaxing

It is a great starting point for cycling in the mountains (...
It is a great starting point for cycling in the mountains (Stelvio/Gavia). It has great spa's (we visited Bagno Vecchio), although not cheap. The town centre is very nice with shops and a lot of (coffee/apperitivo)bars and restaurants.
Perfect location, 5 minutes walking distance too all restaurants bakery, cofeterias, ice cream shop.. etc.
Bigest super market 100meters from the hotel. Nice view from the balcony to Bormio downhill ski track. Very good breakfast and coffee machines making perfect coffee. Staff in the hotel very professional and polite, specially receptionist Elisa. Easy free parking lot in the Hotel. You don't bother with anything, they are well organized, perfect place for vacation and fun. Bormio thermal bath is on 7minutes walking distance.
The room was small but very cosy. It had a very comfortable bed and there was a kettle with a good supply of different teas. Reception was very welcoming and very helpful. The room was always cleaned and towels changed everyday. Cleanliness was in all parts of this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, it had practically everything you can think of for breakfast. All the staff during breakfast time were very polite and saw to our every need. Private parking was also peace of mind.
Amazing location right on the main street of Bormio, and right next to one of the two supermarkets. Private and free parking is only 10 minutes walk away. The apartment is newly renovated to VERY high standards, and everything you might need is available. Great quality materials and everything is brand new. The kitchen is fully furnished, and you can cook and eat at home if you want. Great for large families (like ours)!
This hotel is operated by a very friendly family. They were there when I was in need of any information or recommendation. The location is very good, shops and restaurants around the corner. The breakfast was super fresh and had enough choices for a few mornings. The room and the entire hotel was totaly clean and well organized. I’ll be back when I’ll be in Bormio again. No question!
Spa that cannot be beat. Ever flowing hot spring pools/tubs, with wonderful saunas and relaxation rooms. This is our second stay, first time was at Bagni Nouvi and I didn’t think Bagni Vecchi could beat it. I have to admit the historical roman baths and buildings of Bagni Vecchi won me over. But both locations are hard to beat! Massages are expensive but well worth it!
Had a beautiful stay with alpine dream apartments! Apartment was right across from the gondola up to Bormio 2000. The most perfect location! Apartment was a good size and had everything we needed for our week stay. We were able to park 2 cars on the property (one car was smaller). Communication was great as well.
Hotel with good potential, but run on a budget mood ... It is an hotel right in the center of Bormio, in a hystoric building. The room is so-so (apart the shower, that was just bad), breakfast ok, the hotel Management ok ... but everything could be much better with a little more of attention ...
This hotel is in Bormio. It is a beautiful hotel, with lots of wood as part of the construction and for decoration. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the facilities in the room were also excellent. The off street parking was also very beneficial.
Very convenient location. All within walking distance.
Cosy room with a well maintained old Italian vibe which we can't see it feels like a modern society hotel.
The staff can't speak English but she still very friendly and took the effort to talk to you and offer drinks.
The whole service is really good from the quick check-in, reception, restaurants/bar, room, and spa facilities. I can stay in the hotel for the whole Bormio trip with the relaxing thermal bath and spa facilities. Will definitely recommend for your stay in Bormio :)
Good breakfast that was included. Room was nice with a balcony and view on the mountains, TV was a bit small and off to the side. Bathroom shower was spacious. Few shampoos / amenities. Hotel has a SPA but cost is not included if you book via booking.com.
A very cute little hotel. Short walk to the old town center and nice view of the mountains. Convenient parking and easy to get to by car or even by foot from the slopes. Also the free bus stops right in front to take you to the slopes.
The hotel is clean and the staff is great.
They are very helpful with every request.
The breakfast has good quality products.
Location is just at the end of a slope and near the ski lift.
Overall really nice stay, love the place.
Everything was excellent. The room decor was really nice and the room was also very clean. The breakfast from the bakery was simply out of this world! Location is also very central to Bormio and the hotel has parking nearby.
This hotel is located right on the main street for the road to the Gavia Pass. It's within walking distance of the centre of Bormio and boasts a warm and homely atmosphere. It's a wonderful hotel.
One of my best stays. Exceptional points for the property and for the owner. We had a best feeling when we were there. Simply one of the best places to stay in Bormio. 10 out of 10. Cheers.
the breakfast was stunning, the staff were only too happy to help us. we drove over 1500 miles and stayed in this hotel, everything about it was excellent we will be staying again for sure
It is located in the center of Bormio with several restaurants nearby. The town itself was very cute. The room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom very big.
a very nice BB with a super family managing it, a super story history around the building and its reconstruction. when you are in Bormio go for a stay there.
