It is a cosy village between Ortisei and Cortina d'Ampezzo. Everyone is super nice, there are good restaurants, and amazing views of the mountains. There is a beautiful river across the village. The place is really beautiful and serene. It is close to Cortina D'Ampezzo city and all the nearby cable car stations but we got the room in much cheaper cost in this peak summer time. We were very welcomed by locals who advised and helped us to get up and running with the ski lift passes, hire of kit and lessons. The locals were very accommodating with the fact that we couldn't speak their language and were helpful in all ways. Alleghe is a beautiful place and without a doubt, we will be returning.

Very well maintained and run by an incredibly friendly and helpful family. They helped us with dinner reservations and drove us to and from the restaurants. They really went out of their way to make our stay memorable. Location is perfect, short walk to village center. We will most definitely be back at this beautiful property! It is a historical building, so if you like old-fashioned places with atmosphere and real keys instead of plastic cards, you might like it. Our room had a nice little balcony with a lake view. Restaurant is directly in the hotel, in a grand room, and the food is very good, plus the wine card is really impressive. Rich breakfast buffet.

Do yourself af favor and spend the extra bucks elsewhere in order to get a good experience.
