This is a luxury ski town. If you are coming to do any casual shopping, this is not your area unless casual to you means Prada or Gucci. Also, there is virtually no apres or nightlife, however there are some really great restaurants.

A bit busy for a tourist destination, lots of heavy traffic on the main road that leads to the old city center.
Lots of places to eat and shop, but not many places to walk around, at least in the winter.

This is a great place for a ski holiday fantastic skiing and huge range of places to eat and bars and a cornucopia of high end shops to browse the mountains are divine. I am sure it would be just as goos as a walking holiday destination in spring summer and autumn. Despite the glizzy reputation there is something for everyone here and the town is a great place to wander about in.

It's a nice and quite rich village.
It's a nice and quite rich village. The city centre offers a lot of luxury shops. It's located just 20min by car to the Tres Cimes and close to the ski slopes. We went there End of October, which is in between their main seasons. A lot of bars and restaurants and even hotels were closed during this time. It's nice to explore the nature around this time, but you need to be aware that huts and a lot of facilities are closed.

The customer service at this hotel is exceptional. Lorenzo gives personal attention to each guest starting from the time you arrive. The breakfast staff is also so courteous and helpful. And to top it off, the breakfast each morning was delicious. The selection of different baked goods, fresh fruit, yogurt, meat and cheeses was high quality and varied. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants, and it's a great central location for many hikes.
Friendly and welcoming. This is an incredibly cozy, clean and well run little family run hotel. Nice warm room with an heather that seems to come on and off according to the temperature and not by the watch, which has been a problem elsewhere in Italy. The location is superb, right by the bus station. There is a balcony with views of the mountains. The lady in charge is a mine of information. Better than the tourist office.
The staff was kind and welcoming. Breakfast was better than expected with a more than adequate selection of items well beyond the typical continental breakfast that is served at most hotels in europe. The dinner menu was very seafood heavy but the food was very well prepared with a reasonably valued large wine list. The shuttle service was great with easy access to the bus station and gondola.
The Manager, Marcel and Monica made our stay in this already stunning hotel beyond our expectations. They made recommendations to hikes that we would never have thought of and restaurant where we had one of the best dinners we have had in Italy. We loved everything about Hotel Columbia and especially their team. Thank you for one of the best life experiences.
Somewhat small clean room with modern bathroom but no bath hooks and non functioning hair dryer. Location is excellent. Breakfast quite adequate. We noticed that hotel rates were much higher during this stay compared to a year ago. At a reasonable price point this would be a good choice and we would stay here again.
Decent breakfast, yet in the regular zone, nothing to remember.
Very good dinner, which îs something you expect when in Italy.
Location îs very good - very quiet and not far from the center. The views of the mountains from the hotel are something to remember.
The hotel is modern and with its interior stands out among other places in Cortina. However, when we arrived we felt the place would more fit in Berlin than in the mountains - the interior, while modern, lacks 'soul'. Nevertheless, good option for one night.
I like everything about the hotel, first of all the Staff was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very cosy with a nice terrace and a great view. The location is just in walking distance from the downtown and has easy access to all you need.
The hotel is located on the main street in Cortina and literally two minutes from the bus station to Tofana. The staff is polite and friendly. There is a ski room in the lobby and there is a nice lounge area on the first floor with a piano.
The location was great--an easy walk to lots of restaurants and shopping. The room was cozy and comfortable, and Simonetta at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. Can't believe it's only rated as a three star hotel.
The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming! The breakfast buffet was great! Our room was charming, not ski-resort modern. And the location was very convenient! We would definitely recommend this hotel!
Hotel was perfectly located close to the town centre, breakfast was good and the dinner restaurant also of great quality and service. Spa was also very enjoyable albeit at a charge and with a reservation required.
The breakfast, the location and the views are just amazing, the mountains all around are beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful (hotel and restaurant). The food in the restaurant, also very delicious
The hotel was very warm and inviting, and our room was a nice size. The staff was very nice and we had a great stay overall. We came to hike in the dolomites, and it was perfect for that.
