This is a budget and work hotel in a small town, and I did not expect it to be so clean, so comfortable, and so well designed. There wasn't a lot of space, but the design was brilliant and use of space optimal. Everything was spotless and the beds were great. They also had an amazing sliding wall design that closed off the room from all the little lights that normally make hotel rooms annoyingly bright at night, and blackout curtains. It's very quiet, and you'll get an amazing night's sleep.

The nicest host I have ever had the pleasure to stay with! The beds were so comfy I didn't want to get out of bed each day. The Furano Retreat was one of the best places we've stayed so far on our trip. It is a comfortable home that is beautifully furnished with modern decor. Location was convenient and close as we got there in less than 15mins from skiing at the Ski Resort. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the place as it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The staff even shoveled the walkways and also made sure the home was well heated when we arrived so we didn't go into a chilly home. The ski rack inside and boot warmer was nice to use after skiing. Very thoughtful indeed. We were a family of 4 but this place was spacious and had more than enough rooms and beds to sleep for two or more families. Beds were very new and super comfortable as we all had a great night sleep. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to make both dinner and breakfast without any issues. Looking out to the scenic view from our bedroom window with a freshly brewed cup of coffee is a pleasant way to start the day. Lots of thoughtful amenities that we didn't use. Even has a standing desk for those working but we were on vacation. Our kids even played with the Nintendo Switch at night before bedtime. Heaters in the rooms kept our family warm at night and humidifiers were a nice touch as our kids have dry skin. They even have AC in the rooms which is rare but we didn't need to use it. Saw a recent review about having hot water issues but we did not experience it at all. Would have liked to stay longer but we had to hit the road. Great place indeed and will definitely plan to come back for a longer visit.
