Super nice! The people were very kind and honest. I would like to thank the photographer in the mountain resort who returned my phone as I left it by accident. I was not able to get his name but I salute him! He ran to us while we were leaving and gave back my phone. Whoever you are, God bless your heart :)

Shahdag is a really comfortable and safe ski resort.
Shahdag is a really comfortable and safe ski resort. Lots of helpful staff. Nice ski area with all varieties of ski slopes for different levels of skiers, comfortable ski lifts. Lots of winter activities. Beautiful mountains landscapes. Several spas with pools, saunas, jacuzzi. Big choice of restaurants with very delicious local dishes.

High standard of facilities, well maintained and mostly new chairs and gondola, slopes are good enough. There are many choices of slopes for mainly Red and Blue lovers. Medics available all the time, patrolling for safety. Ski rental shops have good quality. There are many restaurant and fast food options. Variety of attractions available even if you are not skiing. Hotels are very high quality with SPA and restaurants. Easy access from Baku by car approx 2,5 hrs to 3 hours.

Shahdag is 3.5 hours drive from Baku, the neighborhood was very beautiful. only downside that there are supermarkets nearby, therefore ensure before you go there to bring all your needs specially if you will stay for few days.

I stayed there for 2 nights. I chose the hotel based on reviews on booking and the hotel really does live up to these reviews!!! I stayed on the 3rd floor, the room was spacious, very clean, the balcony are large enough to enjoy the natural lighting during the day,the location is so convenient and safe especially if you love to move around in the evening(like myself), The breakfast is variety with a good quality,the wifi was really good!! the skiing there was amazing. you can find everything you need. there is alot of restaurants and not expensive. its easy to go around via coaster, or aerial lift. you need to ask alot because no body will help to find the easy way to walk around from different places. one last thing, the dont speak english very well

I like that bath are and toilet were separate. Staff were very helpful. Their breakfast buffet is awesome and very organized despite the rush. Loved their freshly squeezed orange juice. Had the best Beef Burger in a long time just outside the hotel at ‘Fridays’. Not sure if it was part of their property or not. Their Spa is also too good. Had massage from there which was very very relaxing.

The hotel is very well located, right next to all the activities: ski station, rental shop, rollacoaster, horse riding, quad, ice rink, bowling, pool table, games... Very friendly, helpful and professional staff Rooms are spacious and clean. Spa was really good. Amazing outdoor and indoor pools.

Only 2 minutes by car from Shahdag ski resort and the price is definitely much better.
