If you love hiking it is a great place in the summer. Lots of trees and hiking trails, fishing and camping. Other than that no too much else to do, but why would you need to do anything else. I was there in the beginning of June and it was relatively quiet.

If you love nature and great views, this is the place for you. There is some hiking involved for most attractions.Kinuseo Cafe in town has great food and service for reasonable prices. The large number of waterfalls close to town are all worth the effort to access. The vistas are stunning. You will not see all this in other places.A bonus is that it is not overrun with tourists,no waiting for anything.Take your boots and poles.

It was cloudy/ foggy during our trip, but from photos the scenery is amazing. Five of us ran the Emperors Challenge race and the energy and support from the volunteers was incredible. Tumbler Ridge is a very clean , orderly looking town, and all the signs for hiking trails are very enticing. All the people we met were friendly, and you can tell they take pride in their home, and the race they have managed to put on for 21 years. I am glad I experienced it

Older hotel, smoking rooms, restaurant was worth staying there for. Free breakfast. Wi-fi pretty well non existent. If you just need a simple room and aren’t too fussy about it not being modern you should stay here. Not many restaurants in area so this place was convenient for us

Great spot and in the heart of gods country.

Great spot and in the heart of gods country. It’s real serene and peaceful there. If you’re into nature and the outdoors, camping and quadding or sledding, this is the place. Grocery store is well stocked and maybe a 3-4 minute walk. We had lunch at the Dragon Palace Chinese restaurant. Huge portions and friendly owner/manager. Once you get him to smile once. Make a funny joke or something, make him laugh and then he loosened up. Great guy though. Not sure about all services that can be had but I’m sure they’re all there. If your driving a new BMW M5 and have a check engine code and it’s not running, ya may be waiting a while. Just sayin.
