We're skiers, so the trip was about getting time on...
We're skiers, so the trip was about getting time on Sasquatch Mountain, but then we discovered the area! There's protected salmon habitat, the hot springs, the bookstore in Chilliwack, and several great restaurants nearby. There's a little bit of driving to get around to it all, but the roads are lightly travelled and run through gorgeous rural scenery. Great destination for a romantic weekend getaway!

Harrison river provides spectacular nature setting, so many beautiful places to see around. Kilby campground/beach and historic site are very beautiful, lots to see and explore at the historic farm, which offers many activities through the year and only 2 km away from B+B. Sandpiper golf course has stunning grounds and very good food at the clubhouse. Only 15 minutes by scenic road to Harrison Hot springs. Apparently in November it is the perfect place to see eagles.

My wife, Cindy and I took a short car ride to Harrison Hot...
My wife, Cindy and I took a short car ride to Harrison Hot Springs, had great burgers at Harrison Hamburgers and Steak and Prawns at The Old Settler Pub. Agassis is nearby and the ribs at The Broken Whisk were amazing! Good meal at the Sasquatch Inn as well! Don't miss Bridal Veil Falls and the Blue Heron Sanctuary on the Vedder River. This is a stunningly beautiful area that anyone will enjoy!

It looks like the rooms have been re-done recently so everything, style wise, was on point. Very inviting. The building itself was lovely and super inviting. Great cabin-ish vibe! The drive there was definitely worth it! So BeAuTiFuL!! We didn't eat at the restaurant but, my son and his gf had drinks and said they were really good. Never had anything like it. There was a small issue which was solved to my expectations by the manager who was on site. This was the second time we have stayed at this motel. Even though it seems to be in between any towns, it felt safe and comfortable. I recommend this motel and I am a person with high standards and expectations.

I would classify this stay as a unique experience and not like a hotel. I loved it. Only thing is the internet connection isn’t great- so if you need to keep up with work emails I wouldn’t stay here unless you have a good data plan.
