Really lovey place with beautiful grounds.

Really lovey place with beautiful grounds. We stayed one night with our dog en route to Fishguard for our ferry the following day. We were made very welcome by friendly staff and our room was lovely. We had a lovely dinner in the dog friendly room in the bar and a great breakfast too! Would def recommend, couldn’t fault anything and very good value for money.

Newport is a lovely small village with beautiful walks and a wonderful beach just 3 miles away. There are several very nice places to eat with several more just a few miles away. It's also an excellent base for trips to Tenby, St David's and Pembroke.

Our three night stay with my parents in law at Duffryn was exceptional. The farm and the self contained accommodation of 2 double bedrooms living area and 2 bathrooms plus a private patio was stunning as were the views of the Pembrokeshire coast. Our lovely host Sally went above and beyond welcoming us with tea and a homemade lemon cake. The “welsh continental” breakfast served in her beautiful kitchen was delicious- local ham, cheese, bread, fruit and cereal and even homemade marmalade. It was a very special weekend. Thank you Sally!

Newport beach and town is 5/10 minutes from the property. Parog is quite close, 2 minutes by car or 15 minute walk and highly recommended, very pretty with good free car parking. Lovely walks along the coast and also estuary. Nice little café in Parog and quite reasonable prices. Well worth a visit and a favourite of ours. Fishguard is about 15 mins by car from Parog. Lovely part of the coast to explore. Llys Meddyg is a nice restaurant - excellent Sunday Lunch (best ever)

Beaches are fabulous.. In Newport itself lots of shops etc.. If you are further out is a bus service to get you to places though it's then a good walk down to the beaches abd obviously a good uphill walk back up.. There are carparks though the smaller ones get full close to the beaches when it's decent weather..

    Newport beach is wonderful.

Newport beach is wonderful. Blas at Fronlas a very nice restaurant in town - friendly and dog friendly too. Also PWCH - has very good food the Iron Age Fort is definitely worth a visit..friendly staff, nice cafe and not expensive Don't look for street parking in Newport - go straight for the car park. It's easier than driving round and round. Too many cars on a sunny day -

A beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean. Met the owner and manager who were both exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The room was well appointed and fully stocked with bathroom items, tea, coffee and juice. Being welcomed with a cold beer and a prosecco was an unexpected surprise. Breakfast in the morning was left outside our room at the time we asked for. It was delicious and supplied with plenty of coffee! The hotel is well positioned for walking the coast path, and Newport is only a shirt jaunt away for an evening meal.

We liked everything! The shower is probably the best shower I've ever used. Isobel was so lovely and brought us through awesome breakfasts in the morning, easily catering for vegans! The bed is super comfy, the space feels private and we appreciated the tips in the booklet. The surrounding area is also beautiful, we were super lucky with the weather and managed to get a dip in the sea (in and out very quickly!). There are some great places to eat and drink in Newport and the whole place is totally charming.

Attractive and well maintained building, set in beautiful grounds, surrounded by lovely green Welsh landscape. Friendly and welcoming staff. Clean, warm and well equipped room, with excellent shower. Breakfast was well cooked, quality ingredients (loved the Welsh yoghurt!). Could've sat by the wood burning fire in the dining area all day! Location is excellent for nearby towns such as Newport, Fishguard and of course the stunning Pembrokeshire coastline.

The house was very nice, comfortable, clean and spacious. We had 2 families of 4 and it was plenty. Location is great. Nice to be out in the sticks, but close enough to drive to busier destinations like Cardigan and Newport. Kids loved the play area and gym. We loved the large fireplace and had plenty of log fires. Kitchen and dining room is perfect too.

Newport is a hidden gem. It's a 15 minute drive to the Fishguard ferry. It's a gorgeous little town which was all beautiful with fairy lights and Christmas decorations. Lovely hosts and a lovely young barman Cosmo who was so charming.
