Very good location to start the Tour de Vanoise. The manager was very nice as our bags were delayed so we would not arrive at the hotel until 1:00am and we were able to call and they gave us the code to get into the hotel.

Super friendly staff. Spoke very good English. There was a area where you could use a coffee machine and watercooker. For tea. Good bed. very clean room and bathroom. Definitely comming back. Diner in the restaurant was great value for money. Close to the main road. We have been in many hotels in the region for a night to extend our skitrip. But this is by far my favorite

La Roche du Croue, hotel in La Norma

La Roche du Croue is located in Aussois, 1640 feet from Le Grand Jeu Ski Elevator. All units include views of the mountains and garden. Each room has a private bathroom equipped with a shower.

Perfect location and view. The room was comfortable enough, everything was clean. What made the difference for us was the hospitality of Marianne and her help with all the issues we had, especially with our baby. A plus is also the amazing food she prepares for breakfast and dinner.

we stayed at the apartment before and after hiking in the mountains. it's a walking distance from the train station and from several good restaurants we checked while staying, as well as a big supermarket and pharmacy, that was very convenient... also near the shuttle to the mountains that we used both ways. quiet apartment with view of the mountains. the apratment is roomy, quiet and nice. it has a nice kitchen - we cooked once but it seems well aquiped. the owners were very nice and helpful, communication was great through the booking app, the languege barier was a bit of a problem but we managed (thaks to google translate and booking auto translate). the owners kept our suitcases for a week while we were in the mountains for a week, for no extra charge, that was very helpful. breakfast was very nice and fresh.

1400 meter vertical results in long runs with no walking and only 4 hours by direct train from Paris + a 10 minute cab ride. Runs are varied: in trees & above tree line. When the snow is right, outstanding hors piste above tree line & in the trees, all within the boundaries of the ski area. If you stay a week you can do days at Val Frejus with the same ticket; they say there are shuttle busses , although by car would be easiest.

The ski resort is family friendly.

The ski resort is family friendly. There are services for young kids (garderie) and the ski school for all levels. The staff are very helpful, especially for the little ones, learning how to take the ski lift on their own. There are some animations in the afternoon, after the skis are closed (5pm) - little concerts, wooden or board games, and other. There are few place to have a snack or a proper meal. It is quite advisable to book in advance, especially in the months like February (high season). There are two bakeries and a food store in the ski village. As well as few places to rent the equipment. All walking distance away. You can also go hiking or walk with your snow shoes in the area.
