    We really recommend this hostel.

We really recommend this hostel. Amazing people working and living there. The hostel managerin, Anita, was absolutly friendly and always tried to help us with everything. The hostel was clean, beautiful and directly in nature. We will visit this hostel again!

Great hostel, perfect location to the highway, and all the hikes that surround the facility. Staff was great & welcoming, and kept fires going. It' was a wonderful time, shared kitchen and living room made great conversations and smells. Everyone seemed to have been to hostels before, people are self sufficient!

This facility has lots to offer but it was crowded with families with kids - and the pool and hot tub area was so full there were no towels available and piles of used towels everywhere . It would be nice to visit in the summer or Fall to use the trails and other amenities as well . The drive in winter with new snow was a bit iffy as there were a few cars that ended up off the road .

Love the area, hotel and Nordic Spa.

Love the area, hotel and Nordic Spa. The pathways for walking are terrific. It’s not inexpensive so be prepared. Booking the Nordic Spa is difficult and for the amount one spends at the hotel, some spots should be kept open for hotel guests or purchased by the hotel for their guests to buy.

I loved the Chalet look of the rooms in Mount Kidd.

I loved the Chalet look of the rooms in Mount Kidd. The kids swimming area is really for under 9 years of age. The steam room is super hot, benches are uncomfortablely hot wet stone. Hot tub is warm. Outdoor dry sauna is cool. the fitness room is great as is the table tennis. The restaurants are booked up fast, but take out is an option. They have Cross country ski and skate rentals. I personally would stay not stay again as we live only one hour away. The outdoor activities are amazing which is why we would in the future come for the day and evening only.

It was very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful.

It was very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Even though there was so much nature outside to explore we loved staying in our room with the fireplace and enjoying the view. We did get out and skate on the small rink in the centre of the village. The village is very romantic for couples but still perfect for families.

Really nice room (we had a loft room). Very comfortable bed. Room service every day (which is not the norm anymore it seems). Great restaurants with vegan options for me. Friendly and responsive front desk. The room did not come with a microwave but when we asked for one it was delivered right away. Room service was quick and friendly. Well stocked supplies. Good fitness centre. Access right out the front door to great trails.

I loved the location. Although I understand that the Nordic Spa is currently closed due to provincial regulations, the price to reserve the whole spa for your own party is too expensive. I did love the other events that the hotel organised, like mountain yoga and fireside smore. But our room’s sink had a leak as we checked-in, for the price of the room, we expected that to not have been a problem. Staff was helpful though.

The kananaskis area is so nice and the hotel is right in the heart of it. There is a million dollar view from every angle. Be sure to ask about the hikes and lakes in the area. The restaurants are all very good and offer choices for everyone. The pool and spa area are very nice as well. The golf course is world class and has a great outdoor patio for all day food and drinks.

Stunning location! The hotel was really lovely to walk around. On our first night, from the viewing platform we saw our first and only grizzly (far far in the distance) down by the river. The hotel interior is absolutely beautiful. Room was a good size too. There is a great food selection depending on budget and preference. We also enjoyed the Nordic Spa experience

My kids had a great time. They loved the waterpark and trails. But what stood out to us the most was the staff. They were exceptionally warm and welcoming. The two women running the s'more station were outstanding and even remembered my kids names the next day. My kids felt so welcome at this resort and that has not always been our experice at hotels and restaurants.

the location is fantastic, the immediate neighbourhood has walkways to stroll around the Kananaskis Village and enjoy the view. The plaza between Crosswaters and Pomeroy is a great connector, walk a minute and ind food, drinks, nordic spa… the room (king) was big and comfy and clean. All staffs were very kind and accommodated all our needs! Dog friendly hotel!!!

The location is fantastic with beautiful scenic walking trails nearby. The amenities at the hotel were extensive- I was impressed to see all the board games in the lobby lounge and also the activities for children (we didn't use these but a great option for those travelling with kids). The place overall was clean and staff were very friendly and attentive.

Really easy stay with two little kids. You can bring your own camping gear or you can just rent everything that is there. That’s what we did. It cost a little more but it sure did save time and space packing up and in general made this trip easy. Really nice spot with some hammock’s by the river. Just a beautiful area.

Everything was according to my expectation. It was a wonderful experience. It’s pretty close to Kananaskis Village. Good value for money, especially if you’re a group. We forgot to bring firewood. Good thing the trading post has everything (almost).
