Featuring an outdoor pool, restaurant and terrace, Hotel & Spa Villa Anayet offers rooms in Canfranc-Estacion. Offering free WiFi throughout, the hotel is entirely made of wood and stone.
These apartments in Canfranc-Estación, in the Aragonese Pyrenees, have wooden floors and are just 984 feet from the train station. Some of the rooms have mountain views.
Great for families with children or beginners in general.
Great for families with children or beginners in general. Lots of offer for beginners and also good for advanced skiers, but beginners have a big separate area that is very safe for first times.
Also, excellent teachers at the Escuela de Esquí Candanchu. They are very good with children.
If you are looking for lively apres-ski, better to stay in Jaca. However, Candanchu is the perfect place to avoid hassle in the morning, right by the slopes, good facilities and fun. You can pop down to Jaca in the evenings if looking for other activities (ice skating, visiting the Citadelle, the cathedral, good restaurants, etc).

Total tranquility. The locals were all real friendly.
Total tranquility. The locals were all real friendly. I’m a peregrino and in Spain almost everywhere pilgrims are treated well but here you felt like you were not passing through but part of the town.
Wonderful hotel, fist purpose built for skiing in Spain. Great to see the area in Summer as a contrast. Lots of history and you can feel the pioneering spirit from all those years ago. Right on the border of Spain and France - stop off on the summit/pass and take some photos. If you are dashing through the Somport Tunnel take a detour and stop at the Hotel Candanchu - you don’t realise what a gem you are missing!
I enjoyed the rich character and ambiance of this hotel. Public areas had several seating areas, a nice cozy bar area and a spacious restaurant. Not the most luxury rooms but comfortable and matching with the surroundings of the mountains. The evening meal had a nice choice and was very tasty with large portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I certainly would come back when being in this area again.
Arrived just ahead of some dreadful weather in early September. The position is excellent with great views. Walls are a bit thin but not many others staying when we were so not a problem.
Staff were delightful, especially the man on reception. Food reasonably priced and well presented. The road up to the hotel and then down into France the next day was spectacular driving
We got a very cozy room with astonishing valley views, an excellent breakfast that tasted homemade, and friendly staff. The dinner was great also, would surely recommend it. Unfortunately, the Candanchú Ski Resort was closed in late December due to the lack of snow, but the Astun Ski Resort was partially open and it was just a 3km ride from the hotel.
Beautiful, traditional mountain hotel, located right next to ski slopes and close to the start of many hiking routes. The super kind staff, the well equipped rooms, the views from the room, the breakfast buffet, even the picnic bag that can be ordered for a hiking day, everything was fantastic!
The room was comfortable and a good size. It was very clean and a good temperature. Even though we visited in the summer months this hotel would be excellent for the ski-ing season.
From start to finish this hotel well exceeded our expectations. The staff, the hotel, the restaurant, the rooms were exceptional, as was the view from our balcony.
The location of the hotel in Candanchú is excellent. The accommodations are very comfortable, clean and spacious. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
