Our group loved the room we were in. It was clean, comfortable and had great decorations from Palisades. The hot tub was easy to get to and the ski lockers were convenient and safe. We can't wait o come back next year!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The weather outside was cold but the room was well heated with plenty of blankets. The location was excellent with easy access to restaurants and right across the street from the lake. This is in Tahoe City with quick and easy access from Truckee, both driving and by the Tahoe Truckee Area Regional Transit free bus.

It's an awesome place to visit; the skiing is world class, and the views of Lake Tahoe are unmatched anywhere in the USA. There is so much history at this Resort. The "Base-to-Base" gondola opens up so much more terrain to ski. The "Village" is nicely planned with shops and stores and great places to eat. There is even a tiny Market to help stock the fridge (but only for quick items, essential). If planing on staying up there for a week, also plan on going "into town" to purchase more grocery items (a car is needed)... UBER prices from Reno Airport are about $110. LIMITED OR NO Uber services returning to Reno!!! Cost to Return can be as high as $500.... If you Uber, get your drivers name and number; make an arrangement to contact that Uber driver and have them drive you back to Reno at the end of your vacation: Cash deal; off the books; it would be like a private limousine service. (about $125-$150)

There many skiing , snowboarding, cross country, snow shoeing, tubing, and hiking in Olympic valley.
Palisade Tahoe, Alpine and many other ski resorts nearby are also offer great activities for family.
Tahoe City has everything for family needs.
Unfortunately, there are too many potholes on the street roads. Hopefully they are fixed for the next snow season.

We came to downhill snow ski which was absolutely phenomenal with the epic snowfall that occurred while we were there. The powder skiing was the best ever! The Irish Pub and Mexican Cantina in the village was delicious serving great drinks too. Since there was an epic winter snow storm going on during our stay, the only way to get around was on foot or by skies! We would avoid staying at a hotel undergoing renovation.

Pallisades Village Tahoe is perfect location to wake up at the base of the mountain. Off season prices reasonable. Peak season pricey. Ski storage, ski equip shops, work-out room, billiards, coffee shops. Gorgeous views from north facing suite rooms.

Skip the Hyatt! They were overpriced for what was presented.
Skip the Hyatt! They were overpriced for what was presented. Stay at the Village instead!! What a location and the rooms were beautiful! The Hyatt DID have a pool but that's about the only thing that made it stand out from the Village.

We stayed in late September.
We stayed in late September. Our condo had beautiful mountain views, great hiking, a lovely deck to watch the moon rise and the stars come out. Whatever you want to do, it's all here. We had dinner at the Irish Pub, and the food (salad, burger) were very good. Friendly people, cute doggies!!! The perfect Pub.
The ski in/out location is great. We were only a short distance from the Wa She Shu lift so very easy to get going in the morning and return to the room during the day and at night. The room was a nice size, the bed comfortable, we had windows that we could see the local cliff from and let in some nice light. we were on the end and it was quiet except for some noisy feet from kids above us, but that did not last too long. Easy to walk into the village for dinner.
The location is very close to the base of Palisades and an easy walk for food or drinks. For skiing there is a shuttle that runs all day so you can put your boots on in your room and get to the slopes easily. There is a room with a nice bed, tv, easy chair and bench, a separate large bathroom, and a family room with a kitchenette. There is a large couch and folding dinner table. Overall, the room(s) have a mountain cottage vibe.
We made one reservation for three nights and a second reservation for one additional night, simply because the deals on Bookings.com worked best that way. We understood that we were going to need to move rooms on our second to last day because of how we booked the rooms separately, but Olympic Village Inn allowed us to stay in the same room, which was so nice of them! They really made our trip so smooth and pleasant.
rooms are very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. the clubhouse and deck are very fun to hang out at as well, cozy to sit at the fireplace and hang out in one of the 3 jacuzzis outside. free parking on the attached garage, very friendly and knowledgeable reception staff, squaw valley is very small, but offers great views and all of Lake Tahoes sights and things to do are easy to reach
This was easily the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in. The staff was exceptionally nice, and generous. Our kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and more. The on-site facilities are kept very clean, and the clubhouse allows you to relax somewhere outside of your room. We enjoyed sitting around the fire-pit as well, where we made s’mores and enjoyed the view of Olympic Valley.
The room was very comfortable. the hotel was very dog friendly. A lovely restaurant inside with really good food, especially the pizza, and a great outside bar with 2 hot tubs and great cocktails. A very short walk to the lifts and a great ski clothing and rental shop right by the hotel.
Very convenient and very friendly and helpful staff. I think my only issues with the hotel were COVID related.
It's very hard to find pet friendly hotels. PlumpJack's accommodates pets for an additional fee. Grounds around hotel are very pet friendly. The facility is older and not fancy, but it really is a comfortable, clean, well maintained hotel. Additionally, it is right across from Olympic Village and ski lifts.
Very friendly, polite and helpful staff! very beautiful, cozy hotel with such a wonderful view to the valley. facilities were perfect! warming swimming pools and jacuzzis were open until 23:00!! such a romantic atmosphere!
Just wow!!! absolutely amazing staying!! Thank you so much
Breakfast was not provided at Olympic Village Inn - coffee and other hot beverages were always available. The unit that we stayed had everything we needed to cook our own food. The small market in the village had food supplies, albeit a bit expensive and limited
Location of the Olympic Village Inn is great. It is right next to the Palisades Tahoe resort accessible by the shuttle that runs every 10 mins. Rooms are spacious for their price and the resort has good amenities like pool, hot tub, gym, ski check-in.
This property was incredible! The room itself was massive and we instantly felt at home. Location of hotel made exploring the surrounding areas so easy! Staff were friendly and helpful, can’t wait to return and experience it in a different season!
It’s not your high-end hotel...it feels like you’re in summer camp as a teen! the location, excellent staff, cleanliness, and room size/amenities is worth the price and makes up for the dated condition of the buildings. Would definitely come back
Property is good, clean, room is large. They have a lot of parking, nice pool area. The location is 1 min walking to the shops in Squaw Valley, so overall is good hotel.
- beautiful location/close to ski lift
- good (paid) breakfast
- hotel room and facilities were pretty well maintained
- they provided live music in the hotel lobby
Unbeatable location! hotel is clean, guests are friendly
Deluxe studio has compact fridge and enough cookware that you can eat all meals in your room if you want
