Unfortunately, there are too many potholes on the street roads. Hopefully they are fixed for the next snow season.

We came to downhill snow ski which was absolutely phenomenal with the epic snowfall that occurred while we were there. The powder skiing was the best ever! The Irish Pub and Mexican Cantina in the village was delicious serving great drinks too. Since there was an epic winter snow storm going on during our stay, the only way to get around was on foot or by skies! We would avoid staying at a hotel undergoing renovation.

Pallisades Village Tahoe is perfect location to wake up at the base of the mountain. Off season prices reasonable. Peak season pricey. Ski storage, ski equip shops, work-out room, billiards, coffee shops. Gorgeous views from north facing suite rooms.

Skip the Hyatt! They were overpriced for what was presented.
Skip the Hyatt! They were overpriced for what was presented. Stay at the Village instead!! What a location and the rooms were beautiful! The Hyatt DID have a pool but that's about the only thing that made it stand out from the Village.

We stayed in late September.
We stayed in late September. Our condo had beautiful mountain views, great hiking, a lovely deck to watch the moon rise and the stars come out. Whatever you want to do, it's all here. We had dinner at the Irish Pub, and the food (salad, burger) were very good. Friendly people, cute doggies!!! The perfect Pub.

We enjoyed 4 days of skiing in the runup to Christmas.
We enjoyed 4 days of skiing in the runup to Christmas. Fresh snow during our arrival created excellent conditions for skiing on the mountain.
The village is nicely laid out and there are plenty of restaurants and shops. There is only one small market and the selections were somewhat limited if you want to cook for yourself – you would need to drive into Tahoe City to visit a larger supermarket.
The location is very close to the base of Palisades and an easy walk for food or drinks. For skiing there is a shuttle that runs all day so you can put your boots on in your room and get to the slopes easily. There is a room with a nice bed, tv, easy chair and bench, a separate large bathroom, and a family room with a kitchenette. There is a large couch and folding dinner table. Overall, the room(s) have a mountain cottage vibe.
rooms are very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. the clubhouse and deck are very fun to hang out at as well, cozy to sit at the fireplace and hang out in one of the 3 jacuzzis outside. free parking on the attached garage, very friendly and knowledgeable reception staff, squaw valley is very small, but offers great views and all of Lake Tahoes sights and things to do are easy to reach
This was easily the nicest hotel we’ve stayed in. The staff was exceptionally nice, and generous. Our kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked with everything we could possibly need, and more. The on-site facilities are kept very clean, and the clubhouse allows you to relax somewhere outside of your room. We enjoyed sitting around the fire-pit as well, where we made s’mores and enjoyed the view of Olympic Valley.
This was located in a great area. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance and there is a safe bicycle only trail that goes from the hotel to Lake Tahoe. The hotel lent us bikes for free and there was a hot tub and gym on the premises. We had a full kitchen and a separated seating area in addition to our comfortable bedroom. The staff was very nice and there was ample covered parking.
The room was very comfortable. the hotel was very dog friendly. A lovely restaurant inside with really good food, especially the pizza, and a great outside bar with 2 hot tubs and great cocktails. A very short walk to the lifts and a great ski clothing and rental shop right by the hotel.
Very convenient and very friendly and helpful staff. I think my only issues with the hotel were COVID related.
Great spot with easy access to Palisades and the village. This isn’t a four or five star hotel, but for the price, you are paying for a cozy, old-school great hotel with big rooms and a wonderful, accommodating staff. Because it is an old building, expect to hear your neighbours.
I’ve stayed here three times and continue to come here as a regular guest. Thank you for wonderful experiences ♥️
Great location, close to palisades shops/restaurants and hiking trails. Waterfalls running right behind lodge after a short moderate hike. Staff very friendly! Stayed in the loft, plenty of room for family of 5 to hang out while I attended a conference. Room had everything we needed.
Very friendly, polite and helpful staff! very beautiful, cozy hotel with such a wonderful view to the valley. facilities were perfect! warming swimming pools and jacuzzis were open until 23:00!! such a romantic atmosphere!
Just wow!!! absolutely amazing staying!! Thank you so much
Olympic Village Inn far exceeded our expectations. Our place was large and clean. The hotel offered a tour of the ski resort with Spencer which was AMAZING. And the bus system to and from the village was so easy and convenient. Would highly recommend and stay here again.
Location of the Olympic Village Inn is great. It is right next to the Palisades Tahoe resort accessible by the shuttle that runs every 10 mins. Rooms are spacious for their price and the resort has good amenities like pool, hot tub, gym, ski check-in.
This property was incredible! The room itself was massive and we instantly felt at home. Location of hotel made exploring the surrounding areas so easy! Staff were friendly and helpful, can’t wait to return and experience it in a different season!
It was our first time visiting the village at squaw valley, the front desk clerk Erin was amazing and very informative about the facility. Explained everything very well to the point I had no questions left unanswered. Very pleased with our stay.
wonderful hotel! food was pricy but well worth its price tag. my dogs loved the room (they gave them little doggie treats), and my daughter refuse to leave it. very cozy!
- beautiful location/close to ski lift
- good (paid) breakfast
- hotel room and facilities were pretty well maintained
- they provided live music in the hotel lobby
Location was great but hotel rooms needs upgrade . Light wasn’t working properly in the rooms , refrigerator was leaking water , bathroom bath tub clogged .
