If you want to get away, make your way here! The drive is to die for, the food was excellent, local attractions were unforgettable. There are two donkeys down the road, stop and they will come running to you to say high. It was the highlight of our stay.

We spent our Honeymoon in Obsteig which we had enjoyed very much. On our 50th Anniversary this year we could not have celebrated any better. Restaurants around our hotel were O.K. But surrounding more than made up! I did not go for Hikes, but noticed a lot of people were going about and wish I could have done the same, as I did not come prepared. Car would have been VERY HANDY. I certainly hope to come back.....

Tiny village, although difficult to find without GPS, as it looks to be located only on Wirtschafts Wege, narrow one lane farm roads. Quiet, on sunny side of the valley, good fresh air, nice well kept, very clean facility. Bathroom very clean, shower was Very large, probably 120x120 with floor heat. Our room was also very large, lovely balcony, great view. Good buffet breakfast. For us a stop on our journey to other parts of Austria. We like this place and will stop there next trip if available.

It is a nice traditional landeshaus with beautiful surroundings outside of any town/villge.. There was a floor heating, so no problem with being warm.. Water was also hot enough (not always the rule in Austria for both of these things). The facilities were clean, the kitchenette and the amenities were as advertised, microwave oven was outside the apartment as it would not fit into the kitchen so no problem with that as well. Very good for that value.

Will certainly visit again and bring a Troup. Activity program in the week including carriage rides, a mountain dawn breakfast, culinary tasting menu, free mountain bike hire, great hiking direct from the hotel door. Only 3 of them and they worked very well. The location was superb (Just off the Fernpass) stunning views and overall a very pleasant stay.

The restaurant is delicious, we even bought there a hand-made jam to take home. Few hiking routes start near the hotel. Area47 is in 20 min by car, Aqua Dom is in 50 min.
